(Jayy's POV)
As months went by and Levida grew even bigger, I realized my love for Perrie was infinite. I never looked at other girls, my heart never flipped shit around anybody else besides her. She was the only one I craved to touch, to kiss, to hold.
And I knew exactly what to do to make sure she was mine.
That's exactly why I'm standing outside Zales Ring Store to purchase an engagement ring for Perrie. I walk inside, only to be greeted by many stares. A woman comes to my aid, taking me to her station, "What can I get for you?"
"I need to buy an engagement ring for my girlfriend," I reply
"Well, what is your budget? That'll help narrow it all down," She smiles, "Sorry for the stares, we have some assholes here," She laughs
I smile back, "Thank you," I think for a minute, "My budget is $500,000,"
"Alright, follow me," She smiles, taking me to a display stand, "These are our most expertise rings that fit your budget. What is her style?"
"She is a huge fan of diamonds, and silver bands. She has purple hair, so anything that could fit that,"
She glances down, pulling out a few rings. As I glance at the ones, my eyes fall on the perfect rock. I pick it up into my fingers, staring at the diamond band. It was silver, and had about three stones, one big one in the middle surrounded by smaller ones.
"This is it,"
After I made arrangements for a restaurant reservation, I returned home with the ring buried deep in my pocket. Perrie had taken Levida for a checkup, so the only one home would be Dahvie. He had no idea about my plans for engagement, so he would be very surprised and happy.
"Dahv, I'm home!" I call
"In the kitchen," He replies, and I follow his voice
"I have something to tell you,"
"Yes?" He replies, turning away from the stove
I pull out the ring and hand it to him. He opens it, his eyes widening, "Is this...?"
"I plan to propose tonight,"
He stays quiet, just staring at the ring, but he then screams, "Oh my god yes! Finally!" He cheers, hugging me tightly
"I'm just nervous,"
"About what? You know she'll say yes." Dahvie laughs
"You can't guarantee that," I reply, rolling my eyes
The door unlocks, and I scramble to hide the ring in the cupboard. A moment later, Perrie walks in with Levida in her car-seat and a bag in her hand. She gives me a kiss and hugs Dahvie, "I'll be upstairs dying my hair,"
"Be ready by 5, we're going out," I call after her
She stops and turns, "Can't wait,"
-----
"Ready?" I ask, walking to find Perrie in a little pink dress and a large flower crown on her head (http://25.media.tumblr.com/81ac62672d2f7cb830a8754607f278dd/tumblr_mikyv0fSK61ryb6rlo1_500.png)
"Ready," She states, fixing her newly blonde hair
"Let's get going," I grab her hand and leave the house, letting her get situated in the car as I check for the ring subconsciously
"Where are we going?" She asks, taking out her phone of her purse
"Melting Pot,"
"Isn't that expensive? Come on we can just go to Olive Garden," She sighs
"I have the money, babe. It's your night,"
She pouts, "At least let me pay some--,"
"No," I snap, making her adorable pout deepen
"Fine," She agrees
"So what made you decide to dye your hair blonde?" I ask
"Was tired of redying the purple," She sighs, "Do you not like it?"
"No, I love it. It brings out the blue in your eyes,"
"Jesus you're cute,"
When we arrive, Perrie and I are seated around other people, because I want everyone to see her be proposed to.
"So what do I deserve for this night?" She asks, dipping a block of cheese into the fondue
"For being an amazing mom while I'm out touring," I say back, watching her cheeks flush with color
"Babe, that's my job as a momma. To take care of the baby while daddy gets the dough," She jokes
"Would you two like more to drink?" The waitor asks, holding a bottle of Chardonnay.
Perrie nods, letting him pour her a glass before he moves to me, "Dessert?" He asks
"Cheesecake?" I offer
She nods, "With strawberry,"
My heart is pounding as I pull the ring out of my pocket, letting it rest in my hand, "Pez, there's another reason why I brought you out tonight,"
She stares at me in confusion, "What?"
"I asked you to come so I could as you a simple question,"
I stand up, getting on my knee. Tears fill her eyes as she gasps, covering her mouth in shock, "Oh my god,"
"Perrie, I love you more than you think. Please, do me the honor of becoming my wife?" I open up the ring box, her eyes twinkling
She's sobbing, "Yes!" She screams, jumping into my arms.
The end.
Ring on side.
