People were right about Dallas Winston, he could easily make it into your head. His lips were glued to mine, moving in sync. We laid on the hood of the car and continued kissing. It kept getting more and more passionate. I loved Dallas, I couldn't stop loving him. But it felt different than love in a romantic way. I couldn't tell you what other way it's like, because I didn't know.

The darkness of the night made it feel much more romantic. But the howling of the wolves in the woods that we parked beside scared us back into the car.

"Fun" I said, wiping a bit of spit away from my bottom lip.

"You're a good kisser"

"Oh I'm so glad" I joked, Dallas flicked my arm, I let out a small giggle.

"I saw that you got a tattoo"

"Yea, it's Owen's name"

"I would do that, if Monika was dead"

"Well guess what. She's alive and annoying"

"I can agree"

"You aren't mad at me for saying that?" I asked. Dallas grew a smile, he winked at me and shook his head. He started the car and drove, taking random quick turns, making us completely lost.

"You better find a gas station and fill up. We don't wanna get left out here. Also fill a spare gas can"

"Calm down, I have this all under control" Dallas said, I could tell he didn't. Maybe he had himself under control, but he had nothing else under control.

I fell asleep in the car, listening to the car rumble and grumble as it drove. I would sometimes wake up and hear Dallas humming along to a song and I'd fall asleep again.

I woke up around 9 in the morning, Dallas was still awake. I bet he couldn't get any sleep from all the worry and shock.

"Morning Dally," I said, placing my hand on Dallas's shoulder. He mumbled something that I couldn't make out. He parked the car at a gas station and ran inside. I felt separated from Dally, all I wanted was Sodapop right now. I wanted to go back to when Soda and I were younger and didn't have to care for anything except fun.

Dallas came back to the car with two coffees, one for me and one for him. He hoped back in the car a few minutes later after filling up the car with gasoline. I sipped on the hot coffee, staring at Dallas as he tried to control himself.

"You alright?"

"I'm fine"

"O-okay"

We drove off again, we left the random town we were in. I had no clue how far away we were from Tulsa. I missed Tulsa, I wondered how everyone was doing, how the kid's parents are holding up after a delinquent killed their kid. The news had probably gotten out by now, Soda must be worried.

Dally pulled up outside of a hotel, he told me to follow him but I didn't want to. I got too scared to be found by Police.

"Dal. No"

"It'll be fine"

"No it wont"

"Dammit Laura! Just come on!" Dallas yelled, I swallowed the lump in my throat and quickly followed along behind Dallas. He led me to our room after he got a key from the front desk. I got a good glimpse of the hotel, there was a nice indoor pool and hot tub in the basement, you could see it from every level. I was surprised, the hotel was extremely nice and classy.

We entered a nice one bed room. There was a washroom on the right as soon as you entered and all the walls were beige.

"How did you afford this?" I asked.

"Magic"

"Dallas, tell me"

"Why should I? You'll get mad"

"Why don't you trust me?"

"Because you don't trust me!"

"I do so Dal!"

"Just... Shut up already Laura!"

"Nice, you really do trust me" I said. I walked out of the room and left the hotel. I didn't have my license at all yet, Mom wouldn't let me get it, it's not ladylike to drive, so i couldn't drive the car.

I sat on the ground beside the car, my knees were at my chin. I began to cry, I wanted to go home, not to the home with Dallas but the home with Owen and Poppy and my parents. My eyes felt like falling out. I wanted to be dead.

"Fine. I'll tell you" Dallas said, he reached his hand down, I grabbed it and pulled myself up. "While you were asleep... I robbed a few stores for money"

"You fucking dumbass!" I yelled. He put his hand over my mouth, I squirmed away and started to scream at him about how dumb he is. "Dallas! I hate you!"

Dallas threw his hands in the air in defeat. "What do you want from me?" he said.

"Nothing," I said. Dallas got in the car and drove off, leaving me stranded at this hotel. I started to cry even more than I did before. I noticed a shiny thing on the ground, Dallas left the room key on the ground. I guess I wasn't very stranded.

I ran back into the room, bouncing up the stairs and there I was outside of the room. I inhaled and exhaled then entered, I didn't know what I was nervous to see, it was a plain hotel room. I saw a note on the bed, it wasn't there before. I picked up the note and started to read.

Dear Laura,

I'm sorry, I'd like to trust you, but most of the people that I've trusted have just run out on me and now you're running away too. I've never been able to trust people. All I want is to find someone trustable..
