the day we met

you climbed into my skin

sneaking with hushed steps

into the creases

of my soul

forced invitations

mutilating; piece by piece

brittle bone disease

my heart's only looking for

a safe place to stay

wondering with dazed eyes

in vagabond

you and your mendacious nature

with devil's tongue

it twists like the spine

of the devil

in the dusk awakening

of spirits

i mistook you as aid

when you were the pitfall

like a drug

these intoxicating eyes

a romantic's breakup song

have no depth, no end

spew magma

you tear down the walls

of my ribcage

the remains twinkle

in fresh blood

~

he is the regret

the pain

the loss

the torture

the drug
