"Here's your drink Arie."
"Thanks," I whispered while buckling my seatbelt. "I need this right now."
"So I was thinking, since today is a Saturday. You wanna go out and do something since you're already in my truck?"
"Yeah, sure." I answered while sipping my drink. "Can I turn the radio on?"
"Yeah! Totally!" I turned it on and Summer came on. I like this song but it could be better.
I rolled my window down and let the cool morning air rush on my face. I sighed.
"So, where we goin?" I asked curiously.
"To the Beach!" He practically screamed.
I laughed and ruffled his hair up.
"Hey! This took some time to do, like 10 minutes!" I laughed some more as we drove down the highway to the beach. We sang and jammed out to the music. We were having a blast already by the time we got to the beach.
Even though it was late August/ early September it was still fairly warm for the beach. I took my shoes off and set them in the truck while Brad grabbed a few things.
I tagged him on the shoulder and ran down the beach as fast as I could. Brad being way taller than me sat the stuff down on the sand and chased after me. I screamed when he caught up to me and grabbed me pulling me in for a hug before carrying me back to our stuff.
We both laughed as he sat me down on the towel and dat down next to me.
"So," I paused. "Is this a date or naw?"
"What do you think?" He pulled me in for another hug and held on to me. He held my hand and i felt my checks blush.
"I think yes, and I think we should go for a swim!" I stood up and ran through the sand and into the water. I giggled with excitement and trotted through the water. Brad came up behind me and hugged me once more.
"If this is a date then I can do this." He leaned down and kissed me. His lips were warm and soft. When he pulled away my stomach filled with butterflies and I leaned in and put my arms around his neck and kissed him back deepening the kiss this time. He pulled me in closer and rested his chin on my head. I buried my face in his chest and felt regret.
"My moms going to kill me..." I whispered.
"I don't think so with me around. It's still early, do you want to go get a snack, mini golf, sun tan or there's a small shopping outlet close to here if you want."
"Can we stay here for now and eat lunch later?"
"Yeah of course." He answered with a smile. Oh how I loved his smile...

Brad but the umbrella up and I lay down under its shade. I stretched out and almost whacked Brad in the head.
"Sorry!" I laughed.
He laughed along with me and that's how it was for most of the morning at the beach.
It's almost 1, want something to eat?" Bradley asked me.
"Sure, what do you have in mind?"
"There's a small little sea food shack down the road a bit..."
"I love sea food!" So we gathered everything up and put it in the truck before driving down the road to this sea food shack.
