The doctor sat in a chair next to me and explained when I needed to take the pain medicine. He handed me a paper and the prescription and said I was free to go. He left the room and Bradley grabbed my hand and led me out of the hospital.
"My parents will be picking us up." He said quietly. I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him tightly. He sat his chin on top of my head and I smiled.
"I wish I had a baymax..." He chuckled.
His hand stroked my hair and we stood there for a moment when we heard a honk. It was his parents. We clambered into the car and his dad drove us home. As in Bradley's house.
He held my hand and medication for me since he probable didn't trust me with it. I leaned my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. I opened them I moment later to see all eyes staring at me.
"What?" I asked sort of annoyed.
"We're all worried about you Arie." Brad whispered into my ear. "That means we love you!"
I blushed and looked out the window. October was such an ugly month. Bradley rubbed his thumb against mine and it sent chills up my arm and into my chest.
"Here." He handed me the book that Percy had bought for me. I smiled and sat my free hand on it.
"When did you get this?" I asked amazed.
"I saw it sitting on your bed. I asked Percy to pick it up for me."
"Thank you." I whispered. I turned my head and looked out the window once again.
----
"Well, we're home, need any help Ariana?" Bradley's mom asked me.
"No, I'm fine." I got out of the car slowly and with some help from Bradley's dad I walked into the house and sat down on the couch. I didn't know what to do except sleep.
"Are you hungry?" Brad's mom asked.
"No."
"Tired?" Bradley asked.
"Yes."
He rolled his eyes at me. "C'mon"
I followed him up the stairs and into his room. I raised my eyebrow at him and he stuck his tongue out at me.
"You sure your parents are okay with this?" I asked him concerned.
He laughed. "Yeah it's fine."
I saw his bass sitting in the corner and walked over to it and sat down. I found a pick and strummed a few chords. I knew a little bit of one song on the bass and started to play it.
"You play?"
"No, I just know a few things." I sat the bass back down and looked up at Bradley. He offered his hands and I grabbed them. He pulled me into a hug and rubbed his hands up and down my back. I looked up at him and his nose touched mine. His black hair fell in front of his face and I brushed it back. He tilted his head and kissed me. I put my arms around his neck and he tightened the grip around my waist.
He deepened the kiss and my hands started to mess with his hair. I bit his lip and he groaned ever so slightly. I gasped for air as we pulled apart. We were both breathing heavy and my chest felt like fireworks were exploding. I looked up and met Bradley's green gray eyes and laughed.
"Why are you laughing?" He smirked.
"We are such a mess!"
He threw clothes at me and laughed. "Go get changed. Let's have a movie marathon."
"Okay, okay! I'm going!" I hit him with the black t shirt and ran into his bathroom to change.
"I love you!" He shouted. I laughed.
"Love you too nerd!" He chuckled.
