Faith woke up to the sound of her alarm interrupting her dream. She couldn't believe that this day was finally here. She was finally marrying Sal. Just then she rolled over and saw her phone with several missed texts.
Hi Beautiful,
Today's finally here and I can't
wait to see you walking down that
isle later. I love you with everything
I have. Forever and Always.
Then several minutes later,
I really hope the reason for not
replying is because you're
asleep. Text me when you're
awake Love.
Good Morning Champ!
You were right I was definitely
sleeping... not to worry. I'm already
surrounded by Nicole and your
sisters pushing me to get ready.
I can't wait to marry you! Gotta go<3
Sal read her text and could only laugh as he pictured his soon-to-be wife being pushed around to get ready. He locked his phone stepping towards the mirror to fix his tie as Joe walked into the room
"You ready already?"
"Yeah I couldn't sleep and I was scared that I'd miss the whole thing if I didn't get ready early" Sal replied continuing to fidget with his tie.
"Hey Bud, You know you two have got this. All this is a formality, it's just the ceremony and the vows. You two have done the hard work already." Joe started his pep-talk feeling the stress from his best friend.
"I know I want to do this, Joe, but I'm so scared to mess up" Sal said, getting more anxious by the second "and it doesn't help that I can't see her when that's what makes this anxiety go away".
"Want my advice?" Joe asked him not wanting to push Sal.
"Yeah, I do."
"Call her...talk to her and tell her how you feel." Joe advised as Sal sat down letting out a long sigh as his head fell into his palms.
Meanwhile, giggly screams were all that could be heard in the bridal suite. Faith was just finishing the last few details on her hair and makeup as she was preparing to put her garter on and then her dress. As she put the emerald green garter on, chants from none other than Vanessa (they had become close friends after that one night long ago) and then all the girls erupted
"HIGHER! HIGHER! HIGHER!"
Faith could only roll her eyes at the childish behavior from her bridal party. She glanced at Nicole who got up answering Faith's cell phone. Just a few moments later, she came over handing Faith her phone with a blank expression that didn't tell her anything helpful. Faith looked at the Caller ID as she excused herself from the room for some privacy
