Paging Dr. Vulcano

Chapter 6

"Alrighty Boys were here!" Faith woke up to Casey yelling at they guys to wake them up. Faith couldn't tell where she was quite yet and the bus had blacked out window coverings which weren't there before.

"Wait why are the windows like that?" Nicole asked whoever was willing to answer.

"We cover the windows to make sure whoever is getting punished doesn't know what's happening. In this case Sally can't know." Joe responded

"Guys, the name Sally...really? In front of them?" Sal had to let them know that he didn't approve

"Sal. We have watched you guys bicker on tv for 7 seasons. We both are very aware that they call you Sally. We think it's cute. Don't worry I'll find you another knick name to call you from me if that's something you'd like." Faith probed Sal

"Well actually..."

"Alright bud time to go! Don't look!" Joe and Q grabbed Sal and started pushing him out of the bus before he could even finish his sentence.

"We are here in the state of California for a special punishment for Sal" Joe started the episodes punishment intro.

"Its simple buddy all you have to do is climb up that ladder right there and walk across that beam. Then you can come down and the punishment is over." Q explained.

The camera focused to the first tier of the Golden Gate Bridge. Sal had to climb up about 4 stories, walk across the beam over traffic, and then back down the other ladder on the other side.

"That is it buddy. That's all you have to do!" Murr said to him.

"You guys aren't serious. That's like 4 stories high and over traffic. I can't do that!"

Sal started climbing up the ladder. He looked over to Faith who was sitting behind the scenes but still able to see the whole scene happen in front of her. Faith gave Sal a reassuring look almost to say "It's ok, you've got this."

Sal managed to make it up the ladder and across the beam with minimal screaming and cursing. All the while the three were dying laughing. Nicole and Faith were laughing just as hard when Chá came over.

"So I heard that Sally Boy has quite the crush" she said to Faith

"Yeah I guess he does. I wouldn't have figured him to be the one to say things this quickly"

"To be honest, none of us really did. Sal doesn't really date let alone bring up any girl in conversation, or even to set!"

"Well I guess part of that is my fault because I didn't give him a proper date last night. Got too ahead of myself with the alcohol. He was such a sweetie and brought me back to Nicole's house before anything else happened."

"Yeah, Sal's a good one about that, he's such a good guy. His mom raised him right. Heck all the boys were raised right. They all treat women how they should be treated, while not squelching them."

"That's good to know from someone like you!" Faith replied.

"What do you mean?" Chá probed Faith feeling a little cornered and getting a little defensive.

"Oh nothing bad of course, just that you are close to them so you'd know if they don't mind their manners. It's something that gets noticed when you talk positively about the boys"

"Oh, yeah. Well thanks, and I hope it goes well with this goon..." Chá gestured and poked Sal in the stomach as he walked over to Faith and Nicole.

"Well what'd you girls think?"

"I think you were the best brave you could be" Faith said

"You were great Sal. I couldn't have done it." Nicole replied as Murr walked over to her.

"What do you say we take these ladies to go get coffee or something somewhere?" Sal asked Murr who was obviously trying to get the courage to ask Nicole out.

"We'd love to!" Nicole replied

"Have you guys been here before?" Faith asked

"Nope" they both said.

"Well, what about we have them take us to Ghirardelli, get their famous caramel squares and then see if there are still tickets to Alcatraz?" Faith asked Nicole

"Yeah sounds like a deal to me!" Nicole replied

They all enjoyed their chocolatey decisions at Ghirardelli, and wandered around the board walk until they got on the last boat to Alcatraz. Faith managed to scare the shit out of Sal by convincing a park ranger to let her hide in the haunted cell until they came around the corner. She had texted Nicole to video the haunted cell part of the tour because she was going to scare Sal. She jumped out at him right at the perfect moment to ensure she wasn't punched but close enough to really scare him. It did the trick and they had the video of a lifetime. Sal grabbed Faith and hugged her close, letting his heart rate drop while holding her mainly to make sure she didn't do anything else to scare the shit out of him.

The tour ended and they made sure to get the boys memorabilia in the gift shop before the boat left. Faith insisted that Sal get a piece of the original haunted jail cell so that he could remember her scaring him so badly once he left back for New York. They all had found a stuffed ferret for Murr that had a jail outfit on from the island. The 4 boarded the ferry back for the harbor, each of them painfully anticipated one of the worst things they've had to do...
