Paging Dr. Vulcano

Chapter 5

"Uhh Hi." Nicole managed to say as her face flushed red from embarrassment.

"Hi there." James said back to Nicole getting her back onto her feet.

"This is Nicole" Faith said to James as the two got their respective balances back.

"And this is Faith" Sal told James.

"Well hi to both of you. I'm glad I came in when I did. That wouldn't have been a fun fall, Nicole. Trust me I've tried it." James stated.

"Yeah the Ferret fell out of the bus in front of a group of fans waiting for us to do our meet and greet. He looked like me when I fake fall in the episodes" Joe added in.

"Woah Woah Woaaahhhh" Joe acted out the whole scene in front of the group waiving his arms around violently

"Oh come on Joe. It wasn't THAT bad!" James tried to interject to save himself from more embarrassment.

"It wasn't that bad but it was pretty close" Q managed to say though his laughter while Joe was still flailing around.

"It's even funnier in person." Faith said practically crying from laughter.

After a few minutes, Joe stopped and everyone was able to catch their breaths. Faith noticed that the bus was moving and they were headed south on Highway 80.

"So where are we headed? Or is that part of the punishment that Sal can't know?" Faith asked as she sat down directly across from Sal and next to Nicole still embarrassed from her tipsy moment the night before.

"Oh were going somewhere cold and its not Tahoe" Chá added. "Does that help you? And no, Sal doesn't know where we are going."

"We'd like to keep it that way, because if he did, he would figure out what his punishment is for sure" Joe said as she was texting away.

"Yeah I think we have a pretty good idea of where you are thinking." Faith said as she looked at Nicole.

"So how does this usually work? Do you guys film multiple scenes in one day that all end up in one episode or do you spread the scenes apart in multiple episodes?" Faith asked whoever would answer.

"We usually film a few scenes a day, but we don't know where the tech team puts the scenes in which episodes. Most of the time they'll tell us that we need so many punishments for one of us and then we come up with ideas for punishments and they'll put them in the best episode." Sal responded to Faith's question. "Usually it feels like I get punished every day. But we have a good one coming up for Murray over there."

"Wait! What?" Murr said .

"You can't know stupid" Joe said to Murr.

"You wanna know what we are going to make him do Ladies?" Joe said looking at Q and Sal for approval.

"They can know, if they keep it a secret from everyone. I don't care" Q added.

"I don't mind either" Sal said looking at Faith the way he did at his show.

Faith's heart rate started to sky rocket and she could feel herself blushing.

"So Nicole, you'll tell me right? I am your favorite joker aren't I?" Murray asked her

"50% of that is true Murr. I'll let you figure out which" Nicole teased.

**Ding** Faith's phone went off. She could see a direct text from a number she assumed was Joe's or Q's.

The text read "were going to make James' eyebrow lady over  wax  his eyebrows so they have a pattern in them. It's going to be right before his new book announcement."

"Oh My Gosh" Faith whispered but Murr still heard her.

"That's horrible you guys!" Nicole said after she read the text for herself.

"Wait NO Not horrible. Come on guys!" Murr pleaded

"You don't get to pick your punishment Murr. You know that." Q said as he rubbed Murray's back. "Don't worry it will all be fine eventually."

Faith noticed herself yawning and trying to stay awake. She stood up and walked up and down the middle isle of the bus to try and stay awake. She made it a few laps until she heard.

"Hold on!"

Right as she heard it the bus swerved to the right throwing Faith to the left side of the bus. She tried to turn to sit down in the process but she was caught and pulled in by someone. She looked back and it was none other than Sal pulling her into his arms and she landed on his lap. Sal held her close while the bus finished turning. Faith looked up and saw Nicole smirking to her and flashed her a look that said Stop it, you'll make it worse! Faith broke eye contact with Nicole and moved to look at Sal.

"Thank you for that" Faith said with a light kiss to Sal's cheek.

"Of course. Anytime... for you." Sal said letting Faith go from his embrace and on to the seat next to him.

"I guess I wasn't paying attention. I must be a little tired still." 

"It's ok. I'm glad James and I were here to catch you two. What would you two have done without us?" Sal mentioned.

"We would have had very different and painful outcomes" Nicole said.

"Yeah so thanks for that" Faith said with a wink as she increasingly became more tired.

About 10 minutes later Nicole looked over in Faith's direction to find her asleep on Sal's shoulder.

Sal motioned "shhh" to Nicole so that she didn't wake Faith up. Nicole could tell that Sal was really enjoying the attention and she knew Faith was too even though she was asleep.
