"Son of a Bitch!!" Faith yelled out from the bedroom of her apartment. Expecting the outburst to somehow resolve the problem that she was now faced with. Just then she heard the secret knock on the door.
"Sal you don't have to do the knock, you have a key!" Faith yelled this time at the door itself.
"Jesus, you ok?" Sal asked as he opened the door to his fianceé for only a few more days.
"No, I'm not ok...the venue just canceled. How in the hell can they cancel days before someone's wedding!? Who's going to have venues open this close to the date, let alone near Christmas?" Their wedding had been set for December 28th and the days before would be spent at a family cabin with their families and friends for the holidays. The Boys and the entire crew had become like family and considering Nicole was already dating Murr she would of course already be coming.
"Sal why did I think this was a good idea? Going up to the cabin right before the wedding and then everything happening somewhere else just days after that?" Faith started crying thinking how the entire wedding was now ruined.
"Hey Beautiful, I'm marrying you not the venue and not the wedding. Just so long as I get you as my wife, it doesn't matter where we do it to me". Sal said as he walked over to hug the woman who had his whole heart.
"I just want this to be perfect and everything was set. I picked up the bridesmaid dresses and they're the perfect emerald green. Nicole is already on her way to get the matching emerald ties and handkerchiefs. I get my dress later today. We had all the decorations ready for the venue and everything. It's just not fair that they're even allowed to cancel this close to the wedding. It's all falling apart." Faith said through now sobs as it felt like her perfect plans were ruined.
"Hey Love? You know I want to marry you right? You know that even though the wedding is going to be watched by our families, friends and I'm sure a fan or two, this is about the two of us. I love you and I know you love me. We're getting married because we can't imagine our lives without each other in it. To be honest, if a decoration is missing or we change venues this late, it won't matter because the people who matter will be there to support us." Sal was still holding Faith as she cried. After several minutes when they were trying to problem solve the crisis, Sal got an idea
"Honey what about the cabin?"
That simple suggestion was it. Soon Faith was in a planning frenzy switching everyone over to the new venue.

It was the night before the wedding. Christmas had come and gone with their friends and family and everyone was back into wedding mode. One special memory from the holiday was Murr's surprise proposal to Nicole. Faith was so excited for her best friend and of course for Murr too. When Nicole was showing everyone her ring, Faith caught the gaze of her soon-to-be-husband who couldn't keep his eyes off of her. The one look they exchanged was filled with so much love and trust and every emotion possible... they had finally recovered from the past.
After reminiscing, Faith sat down on the bed in the bridal suite staring at her dress that she would marry the man of her dreams in tomorrow. She wasn't nervous, she knew this was what she wanted wholeheartedly. She just couldn't believe he picked her. Her daydream was interrupted by a text
Hey almost Wife.
Hi almost Husband ;)
You have a second to talk?
Sure. Everything ok?
Yes, all good things I promise.
I'll be over in a minute.
Faith put her dress back in the cover just as she heard a knock on the door. Faith walked over to the door in her favorite booty shorts and one of Sal's hoodies, as she opened the door to let him in and then closed it behind him. Sal was searching the room as Faith said
"Hey don't get nosy, my dress is in here"
"I'm not, I'm just trying to make sure we're alone."
"We're the only ones in here" Faith reassured him not knowing why he needed that information.
"Good, so I can do this" Sal reached his left hand to the lower hem of her booty shorts and his right to her jaw so he could lift it to meet his kiss. After several seconds or maybe minutes... she wasn't sure, Faith spoke
"Not that I'm complaining, at all, but what was that for?"
"I wanted one last kiss before Miss becomes Mrs. tomorrow"
"Aww you're so cute! And handsy I might add..." Faith said noticing Sal's hands were now fully on her butt.
"You have a great ass. Not to mention you wearing my hoodie and those booty shorts go straight to my..."
"Ok you... you've got less than 24 hours at this point. I guess I should send back all this lingerie everyone got me, I just need these booty shorts." Faith responded to Sal but then transitioned into just talking out loud as she picked up the sleeper that Nicole got her that left little to the imagination.
"Oh My God!" Sal's jaw was on the floor "Just keep them all". Faith chuckled at the way she got to him. They spent the rest of the evening cherishing the few last hours they had together as an engaged couple. Soon it was past midnight and they both needed sleep. Faith walked Sal to the door as she handed him a neatly wrapped gift.
"What's this for?" Sal said, revealing one of the shirts Sal specifically loved on Faith.
"Well considering it's bad luck to see the bride the day of the wedding, I wanted to give you something in case you need me with you. Just a thought in case you need it. Of course I'll have my phone with me and if I don't, Nicole will have it. She knows to give it to me if anything is from you."
Sal looked down at her shirt in his hands grateful for her insight and foresight into his nerves on their wedding day.
"Funny how I perform in front of thousands of people and our wedding is stressing me out. Thank you for this, it will help." Sal said and with one last kiss for the Miss, he left her to get some sleep before their big day. Once in his room he sent her a goodnight text knowing full well she'd probably already be asleep
Goodnight Love. I'm so glad you're mine
and I get to make you Mrs. Vulcano
tomorrow. Thanks for your shirt, it's already
helping. See you tomorrow walking down
the isle Beautiful. Always and Forever Yours.
Goodnight My Champ. I

After a few minutes she texted him again, referring to a promise he made when he proposed the second time, saying
I promise to believe in you,
the person you will grow to be
and the couple we will be together.
I will be faithful and supportive
and promise to always make
you and our family my priority.
Knowing he was already asleep she drifted off excited to finally be marrying the love of her life.
