Paging Dr. Vulcano

Chapter 10

"Up these stairs and then to the right is an elevator sir. You'll be the top floor rooms 301 and 304. I assure you they are our premium suites. If you have any questions please call us with any you may have." The receptionist was checking Sal and the three in to the hotel.

"Thank you ma'am. I don't know if you are aware, but please keep our visit here confidential, we are having a show in Reno in two days, and don't want a big hoopla." Sal responded. The woman understood, promising to keep people to a minimum and to let them know if there were any fans staying at the lodge.

"Thank you Ma'am" Faith teased Sal as they walked up the stairs towards the elevator. "When did you become so formal?"

"I don't know. I guess I have always kinda said that. Guess its my moms fault for making me so polite" Sal said

"Well I happen to like the formal Sal. He's pretty cute." Faith said as she and Sal rode the first elevator up to their floor. Nicole and Murray had gone to check out the pool for some apparent reason. Most likely to be the kids of the group even though Nicole was older than Faith. Most of the time when she was around Murray, they got into some kind of trouble. They even got in trouble texting each other...they managed to ruin one of Murr's greatest scenes.

"Ok, how about you ladies take that room, and Murray and I will take this one? That way you can have your space...but... I had the receptionist make three keys for our room, so you girls can have one. We'll make it the communal room" Sal told Faith. He didn't want to push them into anything they didn't feel comfortable with doing, considering this was only the second time of them being together face to face.

"Thank you Sal, I really appreciate that. You're such a sweetheart." Faith said as she leaned up to kiss his cheek. She took her hand off her luggage and moved her hand to his chest, feeling his chest below his adorable green and navy flannel. "You know I really love that shirt on you".

"I know you do, Nicole told me it's one of your favorites from your fan girl days"

"For once, I'm glad she shared a secret from our Impractical Jokers vault of secrets." Faith winked as she walked away with her and Nicole's two room keys and the boy's room key as well.

"How about you meet me here at 9 o'clock and I take my gorgeous girlfriend to dinner?" Sal questioned her.

"I'd love to! I'll get changed" Faith said looking down at her travel clothes as she felt her messy bun from all the driving.

"Perfect, open the gift I had Nicole put in your bag and wear that tonight. I can't wait to see it on you." Sal said opening his door and walking in leaving Faith questioning how her best friend could be helping Sal out so much.

Faith walked into the suite to find two queen beds, each made up for one of them. On hers, she saw two packages surrounded with yellow rose petals, one package she could tell were shoes and the other was much slimmer. She opened her luggage and found the one Nicole had hidden for Sal. She opened the shoes first, finding Christian Louboutin heels. They were a silk black with gold lace inlay. Faith couldn't believe her eyes. She reached for the box that was hidden from her. Once opened, she saw similar black dress with a halter style pattern made from the same gold inlay. She finally opened the third and final box, finding a Louis Vuitton clutch purse. She laid it all down and stepped back, in awe of what she had opened. She had just finished her final semester of college and didn't deserve this kind of treatment. Of course she was thankful for it, she was just in shock from it all. She then looked down and inside the last box there was a note.

My Dearest Faith,

These last several months that I've been able to be your boyfriend have been the best of my life. You mean the world to me and you're the reason why I wake up happy every day. I am so thankful that you decided to give an old guy like me the opportunity to prove my affection for you. I have missed having my girl by my side and wish we could do normal couple things, but that is on pause for a very good reason. You, my love, have been working so hard to get your degree while also applying to your dream schools, and I could not be more proud of you. It's amazing that a joker like me could have such a wonderful and accomplished girl on his arm tonight for dinner. You are the sweetest, most caring, and beautiful girl in the world to me. So tonight and at your graduation next week, I want you to feel like the beautiful girl that you already are, I hope these can help. XOXO.
