Paging Dr. Vulcano

Chapter 9

Faith turned around right as she heard the text tone. She started walking down the pathway towards her car, only to find Sal standing in the driveway. He had two dozen yellow roses the most romantic roses in Faith's mind. Her father would always give her a single yellow rose when she was growing up whenever he got her mom roses. He always explained to her that her true love would be the one to get her yellow roses and then "when you get big enough he'll give you red ones". Faith had told Sal all about the story one time in their countless texting conversations and FaceTimes...and here he was with yellow roses.

"Oh my gosh, you're here! You're really here!!!" Faith screamed as she dropped all of her things and ran over to Sal. She ran straight into his arms and grabbed hold of him as hard as she could.

"I missed you too much so I just had to come see you. FaceTime was getting old. I needed my girl in my arms, and what better time to do it than when you're finished with the semester?" Sal stated as he held Faith in his arms hugging her.

"I thought you were bored with me when I heard that you had stopped sharing your location with me mister. You had me very upset! I even called Chá and I almost called Joe."

"I know babe. I had to though otherwise you would have known and it wouldn't have been a surprise"

"Well fine but it doesn't negate the fact that you gave me a heart attack mister."

"Ok I won't do it.." Right then Faith pulled Sal's head down into a kiss before he could finish his sentence. She made sure to part his lips and deepen the kiss so she could get his blood boiling. Apparently it worked because she could see the bulge in his pants getting firmer.

"Woah there...I must be doing something right" Faith pointed out the obvious.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to have you in my arms. And apparently that's showing in other ways too." Sal chuckled and Faith laughed as well.

"So what do you have planned for the day, Mr. Vulcano?" Faith asked.

"Well actually it isn't just my plan someone else is in the car too. But he's here for Nicole."

"No..No Freaking way!!!!!!" Nicole screamed as she opened the car door to find Murr sitting in the Uber that he and Sal had taken to get to the house.

"You're here you're really here!" Nicole continued as she jumped into the car and hugged Murr.

"I am here honey. I missed those pretty eyes of yours and I needed another one of those kisses you gave me in the airport" Murr pulled Nicole's face away from him to kiss her. He kissed her softly and reassuringly and also eagerly.

After several minutes, the boys finally told Faith and Nicole that they had a show in Reno but that it was a few days away so they planned on flying down early to go to Tahoe and spend the weekend with them. Faith and Nicole invited the boys into the house where they sat down and caught up.

"So tell me about your test babe. How'd you do?" Sal asked Faith while Nicole and Murr had their own separate conversation.

"I felt pretty good about it, the scores should be posted by now but I'm too scared to look."

"Do you want me to look for you? It might help?"

"Sure I guess. Then if its bad you can just not tell me" Faith got up to go grab her MacBook to log in to the site. "Just tell me what the score out of 200 is for 'Final Exam'".

"Ok, hold on let me find it. Ok, got it, you ready?" Faith nodded her head to Sal's question. "its a 185/200 babe. That's a 93%! God I'm so proud of you!!!" Sal screamed as he jumped up off the stool to hug Faith who was pacing back and forth.

"Holy Crap! I actually managed to do it! Although it isn't worth not being able to talk to my man. That part was horrible!" Faith welcomed the hug and his warm embrace.

"I know I hated that too, but I'm here now!" After a few moments, he asked "Wait a second do I hear Joe?" as he held her.

"Oh, I must have left the show on in the living room. Sorry." Faith responded

"You watch the show?" Sal asked her

"Yeah we watch it. You gotta remember that's the reason why we met Sal." She said as she went to get the remotes to turn off the TV.

"Wait, I want to watch it. I hardly ever watch the show itself. It's so cringe worthy."

"Oh no it's not. It's funny as heck. I laugh all the time and so does she." Faith motioned to Nicole who was walking into the living room with Murr.

"Plus it gives us a way to see our boys" Nicole said

"Oh god we have to watch this?" Murr asked

"Im not the one who wanted to right now" Faith stated. "It was this guy right here". Faith poked at Sal's side finding a ticklish spot on his ribs. "Oh that tickles?" Faith asked him.

"Yes yes it does!!" Sal managed through laughter as he curled up into a ball. Faith proceeded to tickle as much as she could knowing full well that she was next. Sal managed to sit back up and started tickling on Faith. After a while they calmed down and watched the remainder of the episode. It came time for the punishment scene, where Sal had to drink the breast milk and Joe and Q had convinced Murr he had to also. Faith asked them if it was really that bad.

"It tasted like warm sour watered down almond milk" Sal said

"Yeah it was really gross." Murr backed his friend.

After the episode finished they all started getting ready to leave and head up to Tahoe. The boys told them that they had booked Edgewood Tahoe, and they had booked the top suites overlooking the mountains. They all got into Faith's truck, the only vehicle with 4wheel drive, and headed up towards their resort where they'd be in for the surprise of a lifetime.
