Paging Dr. Vulcano

Chapter 23

"For the first time, I'd like to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Vulcano" Murr and Nicole announced. Just then Sal grabbed Faith's hand and walked in... her in the lead and Sal showing her off. Once inside, as their first dance began, Sal leaned in for a kiss and he whispered into her ear,

"When you told me this would be your first dance song, I didn't realize how happy I would be listening to it". Sal found himself getting another kiss as they enjoyed the rest of the song like they were the only two people in the world.

They danced to several more songs. One was spent with Faith and Nicole dancing to Missy Elliott's "Work It". Last time he saw her singing that song was the night they met. Sal had to fight every urge not to whisk away his wife to their honeymoon early with the way she was teasing him. At several points during the song, Nicole and Faith were using everything they had to make their respective men squirm.

"Is it working?" Faith asked Nicole who was watching Sal.

"Oh yeah he and Murr just ordered another shot". Nicole responded

"Here's our chance". Faith and Nicole stopped their dancing and walked over to Sal and Murr, lucky timing as the bartender had just placed their drinks on the bar top. Faith and Sal both felt that drinking would be ok at their wedding, despite Sal's past mistake. He had done so much growth since that horrible mistake and Faith trusted him to have the occasional alcoholic beverage.

"Hi ya Boys! Do you two have dates to this event?" Nicole said to them as both she and Faith grabbed Murr and Sal's freshly poured shots and took them for themselves.

That's when Murr said "Thank god we put a ring on their fingers, we might be in danger if we hadn't" and Sal replied with

"You better watch it girls or you might miss the rest of the reception".

Faith leaned in to Sal and said "too bad the Bride and Groom are expected to actually attend their own reception". Faith pulled Sal onto the dance floor when "Growing Old With You" by Restless Road started playing. Faith leaned her head on his chest and cherished this moment with the love of her life.

Soon it was time for the garter, Faith sat down on the chair in the middle of the room. That was when she saw Joe, Q, Murr, Chris, Vanessa and Nicole walking to stand in a circle around her. Joe was up first, holding a microphone.

"Alrighty buddy, this is going to be easy. Get the answer right and you move to the next person. Last person to ask you a question is Nicole. If you get it wrong, you get another punishment filmed for the show." Sal glanced at Faith who gave a look of "this is out of my control".

"Question 1: What of your features do you think Faith wants your kids to inherit from you?" Joe asked

"Well I feel like the right answer should be 'all of them' but if she just picked one, it'd probably be my hair or my loyalty" Sal responded.

"Faith?" Joe asked

"All correct!"

"Question 2: What is one of her bucket list locations to make out with you?" Q asked...a typical question he would ask if given the opportunity.

"That's easy, on your couch Q. Already checked that one off the list!" Sal said clearly teasing as Faith started laughing "but for the sake of not being punished on the show, sorry Love, one of them is the tour bus".

Faith just hid her face in her hands. "Yeah he's right, to all of it"

"Question 3: Who was Faith's first kiss?" Murr said as Nicole and Faith simultaneously screamed covering their mouths from shock.

"I'm assuming the answer isn't me because they wouldn't be screaming... although that was what Faith told me." Sal said as Faith grabbed the microphone from Murr.
