Y/N POV

i sat on the bench while the boys did a practice match with shiratorizawa.

kita was still pissed, even though it has been hours since lunch, i still couldn't even force myself to even look his direction. i was scared of him honestly.

as the whistle blew to let everyone the game ended, i jumped. "fucking hell."

"y/niee, you okay?" i heard tendou come from behind me, causing me to look up and shrug.

"still not talking? i miss your voice." he groaned as he flopped beside me.

"can you wait?" i asked him as i got up and he looked up shocked to hear my speak but nodded anyways.

"kita!" i called out to see him stop but he didn't turn around.

"can we talk? like now, right now?" i asked at him as he tossed the towel over his shoulder, ignoring me.

"fine." i said, grabbing his arm, feeling him trying to pull away as gripped him tighter and pulled him out the gym.

"what?"
"i'm sorry." i told him as he stepped back as if i apologizing was such a surprise (it was but that's not the POINT.)

"y/n, you had me worried. if you were with atsumu or suna, i wouldn't had cared. everyone was here EXCEPT you and no one knew where you went." he told me as he grabbed my shoulders.

"i told your mother, that i will look out for you and seeing you gone when i woke up scared me shitless. i know for a fact you weren't with kenma all night. so why not tell me exactly where you went."

"went out with tendou to the sto-"
"tendou from shiratorizawa?"
"yeah?"
"okay.. continue."

"we went to the store and got snacks, got you guys something, you're welcome. then we went to the park where i tired myself out, he didn't want to go there! i was probably being pushy, i don't remember but it was only supposed to be the store and back." i told him, nodding.

"i'm not sure how i got with kenma though." i told him as i tried to think.

"it's- it's NOT fine but it's from you, i don't know what i expected. you always sneak off but this time was really scary due to the unfamiliar area. you could've asked."

"you would've said no-"

"exactly! but then i would've known where you went." he said, cutting me off as i laughed.

"i'm sorry if i scared you." he said as he pulled me into a hug, referring to his glare and his words he spoke at lunch.

"i'm sorry THAT i scared you. i really didn't think it'll turn out like this." i mumbled against his shoulder as he pulled away and rubbed my head, messing up my already messy hair.

i groaned and pushed his hand away.

"go get yours snacks for tendou. im hangry."

"hangry?"

"hangry."
