Chapter twenty-one: part two

It had been so long since I had seen those two. I wish that it didn't have to be so awkward like it is right now. We all are just quiet. I guess we just don't know what to say really. I know for a fact my plan will happen, Frankie said he'd like to get his otp together too. Frank has as lot of otp's, but like any fangirl, or boy, they would do anything to make it happen.

We were currently in a coffee shop, somewhere near the shopping centres and whatnot and I have to say, it has been so awkward; I can't really bare it. It was so silent, I was begging for any conversation to spike up, really.

The two girls who we certainly didn't expect to be here were often caught looking at Soph, Frankie and I. Quite frankly I felt  really uncomfortable. They were glaring at Sophie in what looked to be envy but I'm not too sure. Sophie stared back with an equally distasteful expression which made the atmosphere a whole lot more awkward.

Frank and I spoke a lot to get rid of the tension but it would soon get back to the way it was before. Right now Helena was curling her hair around her finger while Hayley was straightening her outfit out  which showed more skin then should be shown in cold weather. Either way, she was 'flaunting' her body by wearing a super short mini skirt, a half top that said 'Try Me' in bloody font and to top it all off she had high heels on. If anything it looked like she was crying out for attention. But this alone already made her look desperate but when it came to her makeup it was a whole different story. The same goes for Helena really. Although she had a dress on that went down to her thighs. Needless to say, we all got weird looks as we were walking around seeing as they both are dressed for the warmest summer day where as Soph, Frankie and I were all dressed appropriately.

Andy was trying to spike up conversation but it just wouldn't happen. Them... two harlots are just cutting him off and being immature. More so than they were back in the time I was in uni. Even though I wasn't there for long, even I can tell they've gone so far down hill.

"I think that we should head off now, what d'ya say, you guys?"  one of the impatient girls whined in a sickly sweet voice. "I'm still drinking my mocha and my friends are still drinking their drinks and eating their food right now." Andy spoke up, gesturing to his half drunk coffee. He seemed irritated by the two girls more than any of us if possible. He was clenching his fist underneath the table which pissed me off. I don't even see why they're here. Coming to think of it, they never liked Sophie, they tolerated me so why are they actually here right now? It doesn't add up, unless they have some stupid plan 'on the go' and in action.

Frank delicately placed his hand in mine and rubbed circles onto my palm. I guess he was trying to soothe me, seeing as I was really agitated. He picks up on things really quickly. This was overly obvious though. Especially how I was staying quiet which is what I do when I'm deep in thought.

"So, if you don't mind me askin', how have you guys been?" Frank says as he reaches out for his coffee and drinks a big gulp from the mug. "Same old, same old. So why did you two leave us? Huh?" Hell's voice grew even more sickly and bitter as each word slipped from her mouth. I coughed uncomfortably which made me the center of attention apparently, as everybody's gaze was on me.

"Well first off, we never left you," I paused and took a deep breath, "A window of opportunity opened up. An offer that you can't pass up. A moment where it could change your life."

Sophie was smiling, seeing where this was going. My plan was to be as polite as possible and say it how it is, or was. Besides, they never really liked me anyway.

"Without telling your best friends," Hayley spat. You could tell from just looking at her, she was overly pissed off. For no reason might I add. I don't know why, it seemed quite immature of them.

"Well to be honest, you ate all of Vanessa's snacks, borrowed money you never even gave back and to top it all off you always tried to push me away from her! Not forgetting to mention your ongoing plans to break her and Frank up." Sophie growled while sending death glares over to the bitching girls.

Andy put a hand on Sophie's shoulder,

My eyes widened and my jaw clenched. I always knew they wanted to break us up, they succeeded once, now I think about it. Never again though. They always ate my snacks and stuff but i just cant shake the feeling of rage swelling up inside me at this moment. It felt like anxiety mixed with the feeling of being unstoppable, but with a shit load of anger sprinkled on top.

"You know, I think this is a perfect opportunity to catch up. Besides, Opportunities like this don't open up a lot, we should use this to our advantage."

"Well I guess it's question time, huh."
