Coming back from the restroom, Emelia was still seated at our table. She seemed to be lost in thought. I glanced around, noting that several people had been eyeing her for quiet some time. I hurriedly rushed to the table we had been sitting at.

"Hey." I said to her. She looked up from her shake and smiled.

"Welcome back." I nodded, sitting down.

"So what are we doing after this?" I questioned. We hadn't really planned today, it just kind of happened.

She shrugged. "I have no clue. whatever we want, I guess. We could have a little fun. " She grinned mischeviously.

I raised an eyebrow. "Oh, what might that be?"

"You'll just have to wait and see. But I'll save that for later. For now, lets just explore the place. Lets go." She scooted out of her chair, and trashed her trash into the trash can. I followed with ease.

We had come to the large fountain located in the center of the mall. the topiary in the center was a family of dolphins, and streams of water had been cleverly falling from their mouths. Sititng on the edge, I looked into the clear water. Millions of shining copper and silver shimmered under water, mesmorizing me. It was a beutiful sight.

Suddenly I realized, I hadn't been this happy is so long. I hadn't had a single thought about anything negative in days. I had been so busy with Emmy, being happy with her, I finally didn't have the time to feel bad about anything. Now, all I could feel was greatfulness. Other then of course, the pulsing injury in my chest. Which by now, was healing. I felt immaculate.

I turned to emmy. Her gaze was set upon a group of teenagers. There had been a short girl with green bangs and black, teased hair. She had deep cole lining her eyes, and decked out in black. Next to her was a taller guy, maybe an inch or two taller then I. He had his hair styled similar to mine, only his fringe had been colored a lime green. He was awkwardly slouched against a wall, pressing frustratingly on his phone. He had two lip rings. and off to the side a bit, two smaller boys had been carrying a conversation about something or other, but stopping as they reached em's gaze. They must be twins. They had the samed fringed cobalt blue hair, same shoes, jeans, belt. everything. It was funny. I had never seen twins before.

"Look at them, Ash. They look friendly enough." Emmy whispered in my ear.

I nodded my head slowly. I didn't know, really. They seemed cool enough, but that's judigng by appearance.

"Yeah, I guess. Why do you say?"

"Maybe we could talk to them. I mean, it's not like it's a crime. We need to make friends."

Yeah, I guess we did. But what if they weren't how we thought they might be?

"Okay, I guess."

Emmy jumped up, pulling along with her.

The two shorter boys gawked at us with suprise looks, and the gir smiled kindly, while the green-haired guy remained oblivious. "Hello!" emmy chirped.

The girl smirked. "Hey."

Emmy popped her hand out. "I'm Emmy, this is Asher. We came here to talk because we thought you all looked like a welcoming crowd. Besides, we really need to meet people."

The girl nodded once more, nudging the boy with green hair. He glanced up, putting his phone away. He raised his eyes questioningly at us.

"I'm Deseray." She grabbed Em's hand firmly, shaking it.

the two twins stepped up to us. "We're Ashlee and Jake, nice to meet you!" They chriped in unison.

"Well, I'm Ashlee." I noticed this one had a small freckled above his eyebrow.
