So here's chapter three... I can see not many people are into the story but I'm trying. Anything helps and everything is appreciated :D Thanks guys.
I shook at the terrible memory, and felt my scar throb gently.
I shook my head, trying to clear away the crazy thoughts I had.
I felt myself getting weaker as the days went by. Not physically, but mentally and emotionally. I have always been a strong, independant person. But... ther's only so much I can take. And now, that stupid picture is out there, and there isn't a way I'm going to beable to live normally again.
I simply could not let myself be a bother to others... I hated asking for help from anyone. I always felt like a nuisance. I know I know, typical emo kid thoughts, but whatever. Its definitly cliche but It's who I am.
I walked down the empty hallways alone, lost in thoughts. The quiet had me unerved so I popped in my earbuds and blared Asking Alexandria.
I must not have seen her coming, but I felt my body collide with someone much smaller, and a small yelp rose from them. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't see you..." My sentence ran off as I realized it was Emmy. She looked up at me, and smiled a tiny bit.
"It's okay... I wasn't paying attention.." She whispered quietly.
Why did she have to be so damn cute...?
I nearly slapped myself for thinking that.
"You're fine." I just realized my memory began to come back. I suddenly rememeber blacking out in the hallway hours before, and emmy cradling me as I cried. The guys that shoved me..
"Oh... I was, just coming to check on how you were. After the incident earlier, I was afraid something was wrong." Her saying this warmed my heart. But why should she care about me, we don't even know eachother well....
"Oh, well... Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks." I flipped my hair awkwardly, trying to force a smile. I failed, and that amde her giggle a Little.
Her laugh made me genuinly smile, and we both errutped into a fit of laughter. A minute went by, and we both calmed down.
"I think you better go to class, Emmy. I hate for you to get a detention because of me." I forced myself to speak, my cheast aching from laughter.
She nodded. "Okay, I'll see you later, Asher..." And she styarted to walk away.
"wait, Emmy." I blurted out before I could stop myself.
She stoppped in midwalk, and truned around. "Yeah..?"
"Well, I was wondering, would you want to give me your number, or Kik or something? I just think it would be fun to get to be friends. If not thats ok." I said too quickly. Man, I was stupid.
She blushed lightly, and pulled out her phone. I was a bright pink Iphone 5C, with a Hello Kitty case protecting it. She scrolled, then recited her number. "574-543-0986., and Kik... BlueUnicorn444."
I laughed out loud, mentally noting the contact info. "Thanks, I'll text you. Later!" And with that I began my journey back to class.
---------Ten Minutes Later-------
I walked into Physics, and all heads turned to me.
I shurgged and walked to my desk, and set my head down, so no one could see my face. I wasn't in the mood for this...
"Asher, where have you been?" Mr. Middle asked, kindly.
I always like Middle, he had a way with people. I always felt comfortable around him, unafraid to speak my mind.
I mubled that I was at the nurses.
"What was that?"
I spoke louder. "I was, at the nurses. Headache sir."
Someone in the front row spoke up. "My head would be hurting too, with all that hair."
Some laughter arise in the class, and I slunk further down in my seat. Graham Balster never said anything intelligant but somehow, everyone liked him. What he said, went.
"Excuse me, Mr.Balster. I wasn't speaking to you." Middle spoke with a hint of agitation.
"Sorry, Sir." He laughed afterwards, and his buddy high-fived him, like it was the greatest accomplishment of all time.
"Alright. As I was saying. Asher, we were just wrapping up. No homework tonight. You may have the rest of the timne to talk quietly with a neighbor."
Everyone cheered, except for me. I closed my eyes, but someone began talking to me.
'Open your eyes, idiot. Or can you not see behind that curtain of youra? Graham sneered.
I peeked at him. He wasn't ugly. If I was gay, I'd probably be interested. He had light blonde hair, a well-toned cheats, bright green eyes, and designer clothing everywhere.
"Sorry, it blocks me from seeing dicks like you." I spat back at him. I wasn't afraid to defend myself, but it did hurt me when people talked shit the way they do.
"Fairy boy talking back, huh? Did you like our little edit of you, Ash?" Edit... Wait... What!?
"YOU DID THAT?!" I jumped from my desk, anger swelling inside. "WHAT THE HELL DUDE?!" I scream at him.
He looked afraid for a minute, but that disappeared as quickly as it came. He got up in my face, towering over me. He was a good six inches taller, but that didn't intimidate me. What did, though, was his look. He gave me the same disgusted face as my dad did.
I shuttered. "What are you going to do about, cutter? Nothing, so why don't you do us a favor, and do a flip off a cliff." He laughed and walked away, chest bumping the same guy he high-fived.
It was him! He was the one who made the flyer. He was the one who put me out in the open this way. I hated him, more than ever. I never understood why Graham hated me the way he did. Just because I was different? I don't know, and I never will, either.
Mr.Middle looked at me with concern. "Everything alright, Ash?"
I shurgged. "I guess so. Have a good day Mr.Middle." And the bell rang signaling the end of this treachourous day.
"And you too, Asher."
