Does he love me?

Emma placed Beth down with a sigh of relief. She was finally, finally asleep! She didn't think she'd ever heard a baby cry as much or as loudly as Beth did. So now she was just praying and hoping that Beth wouldn't wake during the night. Killian had taken Henry out sailing and they would probably be back soon. But until then, Emma was alone. Well, she wasn't alone. She was with Beth. Deciding that she wanted some time to relax and unwind after the stressful week she'd had, she went to draw a bath. But she was interrupted by a sharp knock on the door. Sighing, she yelled at the person to come in.

"Hey Em."

"Neal." He smiled at her and she gradually returned the smile. But she really just wanted to yell at him to leave. Just because they had a son and Neal was here to get to know Henry better, didn't mean they had to interact. And Emma really, really didn't want to. Because all she wanted to do was punch him and then.....well, the thought of what she wanted to do made her like an awful person and tore her up from the inside.

"We need to talk." He said.

"About what?"

"Hook."

"What about him? Is he okay? Is something wrong?" she exclaimed, fearing for her fiancée's life. She'd already lost him too many times. She couldn't go through it again. She couldn't survive without him.

"I don't want you to marry him."

"What?" She felt sick as her face fell. She needed him and Killian to get along. Although she didn't like it, they were going to be a part of each other's lives from now on. Emma hated the idea of constantly having to deal with fights and arguments. And why didn't he like Killian? It's not like he had feelings for Emma anymore. Right? But then he took a step closer and went to grab hands. Luckily, she managed to pull away but in that moment, it was clear what he wanted. Her. And it made her feel even more sick.

"Emma, I still love you. I want to be with you. What we had was special and good and we can get that back. And we have a son. It's perfect timing really. We can finally be the family we were always meant to be. I want it. Henry wants it. And I think deep down, you want it too. And then we can finally be happy. Together."

"Neal, I'm engaged to Killian. I love him and he's the man I want to be with. And Henry likes him too. He was really excited when he found out that we were getting married."

"Yeah, but that was before he met his father. Emma, we'd be perfect together."

"No. Killian's my true love and we're going to get married and that's that. You can leave now, Neal." She turned around, expecting him to give up and walk out, but he grabbed her hand and turned her back around to face him.

"You know, I actually have some opinions about you're fiancée."

"Well, I don't care what you think."

"He's a murderer, Emma. And a liar. And a thief. And an awful, awful person. He's just going to hurt you. And Henry. I won't allow that to happen. He doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything apart from himself and his revenge. He stole my mother away and hurt my father. He's the reason I was stuck on Neverland for so many years as Pan's servant. He sold me out to the lost boys after he manipulated me to find out how to get his revenge. He destroyed my family and I won't let him do the same to you and Henry. You can't marry him, Emma."

"I know about his past but I don't care. He's changed. He's different now."

"No, he hasn't! Didn't you just hear what I told you! He manipulates people. It's what he does. He's obviously using you for something. He doesn't really love you." Anger flooded her body and she lost control, hitting Neal across the cheek. How dare he say those things about her pirate!
