Killian's POV
She was gone. She was gone. She was gone. That phrase ran through my mind, again and again. I was never going to hear her voice or her laugh again. I was never going to kiss her again. I was never going to have her in my arms again. I was never going to be able to stare into those forest-green eyes that were always so full of love and care. Victoria's spell wore off of me and tears started to pour. I ran to her and held her body in my arms, crying in pain. Emma. Emma. Emma. Emma. Emma. My love. My true love. My world. My everything. Gone. Dead. It felt like someone had stabbed my heart.
"No, Swan, no." I cried. I noticed that she was wearing my necklace and that made my cry harder. The knife went in deeper.
"Emma! Emma! No!" Snow shouted, running to her.
"My daughter! No! Emma! NO!" she cried, throwing herself on Emma. I looked up and saw David holding his head in his hands, sobbing.
I stroked her face and kissed her hand. There was no way to save her. No way to bring her back. Her heart was gone so true love's kiss wouldn't work. It was over. Our grand story was finished. I just wish it was longer. I wish she could have got her fairy tale ending, where she was happy. I kissed the top of her head and closed her eyes. The knife had gone all the way through. Closing her eyes just made it seem more real. It should've been me. Victoria was supposed to kill me and let Emma go. I should've be the one to die. Snow kissed Emma on the forehead.
"I'm so sorry. So sorry that I sent you through that wardrobe. You were right. It didn't matter that you would've been cursed. We would've been together. We could've had longer together." she cried.
"Snow, you can't beat yourself up for this. It's her fault, not yours." David said, pulling out his sword. "And now she will pay."
"David, no. Emma wouldn't have wanted you to kill her. We should imprison her instead." Snow cried. David nodded and put the sword back in its hilt. They were talking about Emma in past tense. That's how people would talk about her now. In past tense. I cried harder. My heart was breaking in two. Breaking in two. I gasped. Could it work? Emma needed a heart to live. Maybe if I could give her a part of mine. We had true love and our hearts were already connected. Why wouldn't it work?
"I have an idea. To save Emma." I said. Snow's head snapped upwards.
"She's dead. There's nothing we can do." David whispers sadly.
"We need to go to Rumpelstiltskin." I say.
"How long will Victoria be frozen? We need to make her pay by locking her up for life." David says. "A few hours. Rumpelstiltskin's castle isn't far from here. We could do both." Snow says. "Are you sure about your idea?" David asks.
"Yes. Kind of. But it doesn't matter. If there is chance Emma will live, we have to take it." I say.
At Rumpelstiltskin's castle...
"Crocodile!" I shouted. "You!" he spat, choking me. "We want to make a deal." David said. The crocodile growled and dropped me. "One day, pirate, I will kill you." He snapped at me. I clenched my jaw and started at him with hate and anger.
"We want to bring Emma back to life." Snow said. He did his high-pitched giggle.
"Sorry, dearie, but no magic can awaken the dead." He said.
"Killian has an idea." she replied. He turned to me with disgust and confusion.
"We could share a heart. Rip mine out, break it in half and put it in her." I say. Snow gasps. He giggled once more. "You do know that will probably kill you, dearie." He laughed.
