I Love You

Killian's POV

I wake with Swan in my arms and the sight of her curled up makes me smile. She's so beautiful. I kiss the top of her head and grab her hand. She's the cutest thing sleeping. I could stay and watch her forever. I watch as she yawns and opens her eyes. She smiles at me.

"Morning, Love. Did you sleep okay?" I ask.

"Yeah. Thanks to you." she says, squeezing my hand.

"That's okay, Swan. I'd do anything for you." I whisper softly. She looks up at me, her eyes wide and she strokes my face. She kisses me softly on the cheek. My heart flutters as her lips touch my cheek. God, I am totally and completely in love with her. Then, why can't I tell her how I feel? What's holding me back? Is it because I'm not sure she feels the same way as I do? I can't face rejection from her. It's better if we stay friends at least then I'll have her in my life.

"Come on, Swan. Let's get up and we can begin our lessons." She grins widely and we get out of bed. She throws her arms round me.

"Thank you, Killian. For everything. I don't know what I do without you." I smile softly.

"That's okay, Love. And I should thank you too. You've flipped my life upside down and taught me that revenge is never the answer. You saved me." I say. Emma squeezes my hand and she pulls me up deck.

"Now, I want to be taught by the best captain in all the realms." She says, still holding my hand. It feels amazing to have her hand looped in mine. They fit so well together, like two jigsaw pieces. Like they were supposed to go together.

"Well, I'll start with the basics today and we can get to the trickier stuff later." I tell her. She nods. "These are called notches." I say, indicating to the bumps on the wheel.

"So to move three notches, you just have to move past three of these." I say, showing her what to do. She nods and looks back at me with the cutest smile. My legs feel weak and my stomach flips. I really do love her.

Emma's POV

I think I might be falling in love with a pirate. To be more specific, Captain Hook. If you had told me that when I was younger, I'd have thought you were crazy. But crazy things do happen in life. I feel completely crazy when I'm around him. Crazy in a good way.

"There are two sides to a ship too, starboard and port. And that tells you which direction you move the notches." He tells me. Every time I hear his voice, my heart beats.

"Do you want to have a go?" Killian asks.

"Okay." I laugh. Killian smiles and I catch his eye. I stare at him for a few seconds, taking in his handsome face. I desperately want to kiss him. I turn away and face the wheel.

"I'm probably going to need a little help." I say.

"That's okay, Love." He places his hands on the top of my arms and I can feel his breath on my neck. I close my eyes and try to remember the feel of his body on mine. He helps me but I am able to steer the ship for a bit. I smile when I stop.

"I did it!" I exclaim.

"I'm proud of you, Swan." he says, smiling at me. I jump into his arms and he hugs me fiercely. "Want another go?" he asks. I nod.

"I think that's enough for today. We'll be coming to land soon." Killian says, after a while.

"Where are we going?" I ask, confused. "We're going to have another adventure today, Swan." he says.

"What?" I ask.

"It's a surprise." he says, smirking.

"Can't you just tell me! Please!" I beg him.
