Alex P.O.V

Its been a few weeks, its been the happiest few weeks of my life. Me and Phoenix are stronger then ever, his family are getting closer rather than drifting away from all its problems. Today Emily was coming round for a sleepover tonight. I haven't seen Emily in weeks, he's missed her more than ever. Phoenix has got his audition tonight, he needs to perform a vocal piece followed by an instrumental piece to get accepted into higher education in music. "Wake up boys, time for school", Phoenix's Mom called through the doorway.

"No", he whined snuggling deeper into my stomach. "Hun, you've got your audition. You wouldn't wanna miss it", she giggled coming over to the edge of the bed. "I need my beauty sleep, leave me alone Mommy", he pouted against my skin. "You're already beautiful", I teased running my hand through his bed hair. "Whats for breakfast?", he rubbed his eyes sitting up.

I finally made it after dragging Phoenix out of bed and into the bathroom. "Open up", holding his toothbrush, his mouth opened to let me shove it in. "Brush your teeth, stinky", I teased while scrubbing mine. He rolled his eyes, we both finished before I rinsed my mouth out. "Spit", I laughed watching him with puffy cheeks. "I don't spit, I swallow", he grinned causing tooth paste to drip down his chin. He's so immature, but I loved it.

"Today is just one of those days", I sighed. "Get dressed", I threw his clothes at him while tapping my foot patiently. "Make me", he challenged setting my nerves in place. I pushed his chest making him fall back onto his bed, grabbing his legs I started dressing him. "You're such a baby", I groaned while attempting to do his eyeliner, poking him in the eyes a few times. "Your baby", he corrected smugly.

Phoenix P.O.V

I was in a irritating mood today, I didn't get much sleep last night after tossing and turning for hours on end. I was to nervous about my audition, I just know I'm going to fail. My theory teacher was babbling on about major and minor chords, I already knew so I was off in my own little world. "Sure, were not doing much anyways", Sir chuckled as I felt someones presence beside me. I turned around to see puckered lips starring back at me. I leaned forward pressing mine back.

"Sing for me?", Alex sent me a pouty frown making me feel bad. I was too shy to sing to him. I sighed while strumming softly. "I'd give up my eyes, to see you one last time. I'd give all my finger tips, to touch you", I sang quietly looking up to see him smiling at me. I returned the smile with a blush. "Will you teach me how to play?", he asked trying to copy my finger placements getting them all mixed up. "Aw, what do you wanna play?", my hands continued to strum while he tried to follow along. "Time Of Your Life by Green day", he grinned.

My fingers changed into a G. "Strum along while I pick", I began picking. My heart fluttered when he started singing along to the lyrics. He has an amazing voice. "Another turning point a fork stuck in the road. Its not a question but a lesson learned in time. I hope you have the time of your life", we played together. I just got lost in his voice not caring if I messed up, he could sing forever and I'd never get bored. "Its something unpredictable but in the end its right, I hope you have the time of your life", We ended smoothly.

"Do you know Iris?", I asked wanting to hear him sing like the vocalist from Sleeping With Sirens. "Id give up forever to touch you.. You're the closest to heaven that i'll ever be.. I don't wanna go home right now..", he sang each word perfectly. Boner moment. My hands were loosely handing over the guitar as I just watched and starred. How could someone, be so fucking perfect. I smiled shyly, my tummy fluttered uncontrollably. "Yeah you bleed, just to know you're alive", I looked away at that part. I felt guilty, so I kept my eyes away from any contact.
