week one.
you woke up at 1pm the following morning, you were obviously very worn out. You get up like nothing was wrong until you see your shoe covered in blood. You edge away from it until you fall on to your bed and get back in your jasmine white covers. You can't stop staring at the shoe, no matter how hard you try.

an hour had passed of you staring, you hear a knock on the door and it creaked open.

"Hey... your up" your mom smiles

You try to look her in the eye but you can't move. She sits next to you and holds you.

"Where's dad?" you ask, still staring at the shoes

"Work, he wanted to stay with you but he had to go in" she says and you smile. Your aunts Maggie and Amelia are standing at the doorway and notice you staring at the bloody shoe. Amelia gives your mom a look and your mom nods, Maggie takes the shoes outside and Amelia sits on the other side of you.

"Aunt Maggie, where's Y/N? I didn't see her yesterday?" You hear Zola say. You look at your mom and shake your head. You didn't want Zola to know right now because she was close with Thalia. Maggie peers her head around the door, unsure as to what to say.

"I want to tell her myself, just not yet." you say. Aunt Maggie nods her head and smiles.

"Zozo Y/N is okay, she just isn't feeling great right now." she says

"Why? Is she sick?" she asks

"A bit um yeah" she says

————————-LATER THAT NIGHT———————-
you haven't moved out of bed, your mom bought you up meals and drinks. You hear the door open downstairs and it was your dad, home from work.

"Daddy!" Ellis shouts and runs into his arms

"Hey Ell! How was your day?" he asks

"Good, i drew this for Y/N because Zola said she was sick" she says. Your dad walks up to your mom and takes her somewhere more quiet.

"How is she?" he asks

"Not great. She kept staring at her shoes which had blood on them so Maggie took them outside her room but she's been in her bed all day, not even on her phone. Just staring into space. I bought her up food but she looks... empty" your mom says

"It's gonna be okay, she's still in shock. She watched her best friend kill herself but she's gonna be okay Mer, no matter what happens shes always okay in the end. Remember when the plane crash happened and Webber said she wouldn't sleep because she knew we were in a plane crash and Mark and Lexie died? She got better, she's strong like you" your dad says

"God... she was only like 5 then. Okay, we just need her to know that we're here for her. I love you" your mom says

"I love you more. I'm gonna see if she's alright" your dad says. He knocks on the door and opens it.

"Hey honey, how are you?" he asks

You stare out your window, laying on your side. "how was work?" you ask

"Good, but i wished i was here with you. Can i sit?" he says. You slowly roll over and your dad sits next to you.

"Do you want to eat downstairs with us?" he asks

"I want to but i have no energy, i'm really sorry... i feel bad but i'll end up falling asleep on the stairs" you say and a tear rolls down your face.
