it's been a week since the funeral, you thought that by now you would finally get back to your old self but now you know that she's dead and there's no changing that. Your style had changed drastically, you went from bright and light clothes to dark and bland clothes. Your principal, Mr McGonnal wanted to talk to you and your parents as you've been off school for a month.
"Y/N you ready?" your dad asks
"Yeah but this is a complete waste of everyone's time i'm fine" you groan while sitting in the car
"You've said this a million times honey, he just wants to see if you're okay!" your mom says. You just look out the window on to the streets of Seattle when 'the one that got away' by Katy Perry plays on the radio.
it was Thalia's favourite song, you used to sing it together all the time. You reach over and change the radio and sit back. Your parents look at eachother and you just stare out the window. You arrive at the school and you walk in, your parents following behind. Everyone in the hallway looks at you and whispers.
"Is that Y/N" "She looks so different" "Is she back?"
You ignore every comment and carry on walking until you arrive at the principals office. You take a seat in the middle of your parents and they hold your hands.
"Hello Dr.Shepherd, Dr.Grey and Y/N. I'm Mr. McGonnal, the principal here at Seattle Riverside high" he introduces
"Pleasure to meet you sir" your dad says. You see a poster in the corner;

you think to yourself 'so they put up posters raising awareness when one kills themselves, nice'. Your mom sees you and taps you, making sure you're listening. She always knew what you were thinking, sometimes even before you know.
"We've made a list of therapists and counsellors for Y/N, if you would like to take a look" the principal says and hands you three a list.
"Honestly i'm very grateful for what you're doing sir but with all due respect, this is a waste of time and well i have things to do and i'm sure my parents have surgeries and people who actually need help" you say
"Y/N, you are suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, causing depression. Have you heard of it?" he asks
"Yeah of course i have"you say. Most people you know have suffered from PTSD, both of your parents, Aunt Cristina, Aunt Lexie, the list goes on.
