you were getting ready for a party with your friend Morgan in your room. you begged your parents to let you go and they finally gave in, only because you said you would do all the chores for a week(which won't happen).
you and morgan were pretending to be in a concert when your mom walks in your room.
"hey girls, you look so nice!" mom compliments
"Thanks mom, can you do the back up for me?" you ask and she zips up the back of the dress. you three go downstairs and greet your dad, who's eating in the kitchen with your brother.
"THATS MY CHOCOLATE!" you shout at your brother, who's stuffing his face with your chocolate bar
"and those are my chips!" mom tells dad
"my brother does that to me all the time so i put a lock on a cupboard for my snacks" morgan laughs
"that's a good idea, let's do that!" mom says to you and you agree
"you both look very nice" dad compliments "you know my four rules?"
you groan "ugh... no drugs, no drinking, no kissing boys and no staying out past 10"
"good, well have a good time, love you!" he replies and kisses your cheek
"bye honey, make sure to take pictures! love you"your mom says and you close the door behind you.
"does your dad know that all of his rules will be broken tonight?" morgan laughs as you both walk down the road. you arrive at the party and start to walk around when your favourite song 'hypnotize' comes on.
"OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SONG!" you squeal and start to dance.
"Here y/n!" your friend Lily says, handing you a tequila.
"wait is this tequila?" you ask and she nods "fuck it LETS PARTY"
as the night goes on, the drinks get heavier, party gets busier, alcohol takes over and in the simplest words, you're drunk af.
"y/n! your phone!" someone calls.
INCOMING CALL FROM: aunt amelia 🤍
you grab your phone and answer it.
"my favourite aunt! how are you today" you say
"y/n alexandra grey-shepherd are you drunk?" she angrily asks
"who's drunk?" you hear uncle link ask
"Uncle Link! And no i'm not drunk, i'm at a party" you drunkly reply
"y/n we're playing spin the bottle come on!" Jack calls
"i gotta go, my boyfriend is calling me over to kiss him!" you giggle and end the phone. you play spin the bottle and kissed 3 boys and 2 girls when you hear the door slam open.
"up now" aunt amelia orders
"CRAP! ADULTS! HIDE THE DRINKS!" someone shouts
"but i'm having funnnnn" you say
"link get her" she says and your uncle link throws you over his shoulder
"woohoo! buy guys! i think i'm going to the moon!" you shout and get in the car "why are you putting me in scouts car seat?"
"because you're drunk and can't be trusted. god, wait until your dad hears about this" amelia lectures
"my dad will be fine! he's a cool dad!" you giggle
"you broke his rule, he will not be fine" she shouts
"you're better than this y/n and you know it!" link says as you pull up outside their house.
"i don't live here silly!" you giggle
"no, you're gonna sober up in the spare room because i'm too tired to explain YOUR mistakes to your parents." aunt amelia says "take these and go get changed"
you go into the spare room and get changed into your aunt's pyjamas and get into bed when your aunt walks in.
"i don't want you to do this again y/n... ever. trust me, it doesn't make you cool or popular, i won't tell anyone if you tell me who told you to drink" she says
"i can't remember, everyone was drinking. but... i got kissed! by jack!" you giggle
"peer pressure, got it. okay well go to sleep and we'll talk in the morning okay? love you" she says and kisses your forehead.
__________THE NEXT MORNING__________
the dreaded hangover. the worst headache you've ever had. you drag yourself downstairs and see your little cousin,scout, watching the backyardigans.
"hangover?" aunt amelia asks as she folds laundry "have some tea, it'll help!"
you make yourself but you really just want some advil or something but your aunt doesn't have it due to her past addiction, which you understand.
you sit down on the sofa next to your aunt and hand her one of your biscuits.
"are you gonna tell my parents?" you worryingly ask
"not unless you promise me you'll never do that again. i'm not trying to be a fun sponge but trust me it doesn't make you cool or anything, it's just dangerous and stupid" she lectures
"i know and i'm sorry aunt amelia, i don't know why i done it but i promise to never drink again or anything along those lines. i love you" you hug your aunt and she kisses your cheek
"i love you more, now that we covered that, how was this kiss?" she asks
you sip your tea and ask "which kiss? there was more than one i think"
"y/n grey-shepherd! i always knew you would have boys chasing your tail" she giggles
"and girls" you add and you both start laughing so hard you belly hurts.
