Evie inhaled the familiar Neo City air as she stood there, in front of the familiar apartment building. It had been bold choice, deciding to come back, but Lucas and Evie had spent a lot of time thinking about it.

At the end of the day, Lucas wanted his family to know the truth, so after a few months of him helping Evie adjust to her werewolf side, they decided to return.

"Evie!" Winwin called out, engulfing Evie into a warm hug, much to Lucas's displeasure. Winwin's love didn't stop at Evie though, and she tired not to laugh as Winwin gave Lucas a warm hug as well.

"Hi." Ten said, eyeing the girl as she entered her former apartment. "You look the same."

"What were you expecting?" Evie asked as she carried her suitcase it, slipping her shoes off before bringing it to her old room.

"I don't know, more muscle?" Ten suggested, making Evie shoot him a dirty look. Ten giggled while Lucas followed Evie, bringing his own suitcase in.

"How is the pack?" Lucas asked, getting straight to the point. "Are they doing alright?"

"Xiaojun's doing a good job." Ten told him. "Hendery is... well you know him."

Evie heard Lucas chuckle at the mention of his best friend. "I do."

"Winwin went to your family's noodle place with Kun-ge the other day." Ten added. "Your family, they're doing well."

Evie watched as Lucas's face changed at the mention of his family, looking down. She went over, placing a hand on his back.

"Remember why we're here, Lucas." Evie reminded him. "To see your family again."

Lucas simply nodded his head, placing an arm around Evie before giving her temples a kiss. "What would I do without you?"

Evie smiled as the gesture, almost forgetting that the others were there until the doorbell rang, surprising them.

"Speak of the devil." Ten mumbled before moving to the front door, letting Hendery in.

...

"Is he in there?" Lucas asked, standing on the edge of the forest with Hendery.

"Just like you asked." Hendery answered before giving Lucas a look. "Are you sure this is a good idea? What if it doesn't work?"

"I'm positive it'll work." Lucas told her. "Jungwoo has done so many tests on her and looked in every book. It'll work."

"It better word." Hendery mumbled, giving Lucas a pat on the shoulder. "Because if it doesn't, you know I'll be dead meat."

Lucas chuckled, patting Hendery's back as well.

"Relax and just trust me."

...

"Is this really necessary?" Evie sighed, staring at the male flipping through the racks.

"Yes, your style has gone down the drain since you left my side. What even is that?" Ten said, giving her a look of disgust as he stared at her outfit.

"It's Lucas's sweater." Evie answered, crossing her arms.

"I like it." Winwin said, flashing Evie a bright smile. Evie couldn't help but smile back.

"See, Winwin likes it too." Evie said just as she saw a familiar head pop up on the otherside of the store.

Evie felt anger fill her as she marched across the store, Ten and Winwin following her. "Evie, where are you going?"
