as they made it into the medical unit cream jumped up from where she was sitting "bliss is everything all right?!" cream asked as the guys helped bliss up onto the examining table, "i felt something strange cream, it felt like something was dropping down! is everything alright in there?" bliss asked as cream started the ultrasound machine and checked, "ok bliss don't worry, it looks like what you felt was the egg turning inside you meaning the egg could be delivered as soon as this week, so if you feel anything else i want you to come to me, and if you can't then i need you to call for me so i can come to you! your very close to delivery so you need to remain relaxed, silver, knuckles stay by her side and if things continue to progress like they are beginning to then i want her on bed rest as soon as the signs start to show got it?!" cream stated as knuckles and silver nodded at cream and helped bliss down from the table, they were just leaving the hospital unit when they saw something blue whip around the corner of the hallway, "hey who's there?! show yourself!!" knuckles demanded as sonic emerged with his hands up and stated, "its just me! i saw you three scurrying off to the hospital unit and i wanted to know what was going on so i tried to listen in, I'm sorry but all i heard was something about an egg, so i take it bliss has food poisoning or something like that?" sonic asked as silver and knuckles went quiet and both looked at bliss who waved him into there room, sonic happily followed as bliss sat back down on the waiting room sofa with the guys sitting beside her and she started to explain what was really happening. after sonic found out his jaw fell open, "this is huge!!!!! i can understand y you didn't want me to know cause you don't want to upset amy but wow! bliss may i feel your stomach? ours is already moving around, i wanna know if your is doing that to!" sonic stated as bliss giggled and replied with, "feel all you want sonic but your not gonna be feeling much cause its in an egg inside me so any movement is gonna happen inside the egg" sonic laughed as he should of realized that echidnas are different from hedgehogs, "oh sorry about that, i promise i won't tell anyone about ur baby until you do it first bliss, and since were on the topic whens it due? do eggs even have due dates?" sonic asked as he didn't know the proper way to ask such a question thus making bliss start laughing at there friends flustered way, "cream said that the egg could be delivered as early as sometime this week and if not then as late as next week" bliss explained as sonic nodded in understanding, "well it will be neat to see what its gonna be!" sonic stated before finally excusing himself and getting back to delivering the baby shower invites.
