About half an hour had passed since the eggs had hatched and currently silver and knuckles were hiding away in the living room, the sheer fact that they were now dads scared the hell out of them terribly, they were currently putting the last of the baby furniture together when there was a knock on the front door, silver answered it to find cream standing there in the doorway smiling happily at the two males, "so how did things go? did the eggs hatch yet?" cream asked as silver nodded and told her that bliss had them in the bedroom, cream quickly bolted into the bedroom where sure enough she found bliss laying in bed with the two newborns who had finally unrolled themselves and were happily sleeping next to there mother, "oh my goodness bliss there beautiful! just look at those light pinkish with quills on that little baby hedgehog, its got silvers fur pattern on its head and chest and ohhhh look at this tiny cutie echidna! bliss have you figured out there genders yet?" cream asked as bliss nodded, "yep the echidna is a girl and the hedgehog is a boy" bliss said softly so not to wake the newborns, "oh my silver and knuckles must be so proud then?" cream gushed as bliss replied quietly, "actualy they don't know the genders yet cause as soon as they hatched the guys panicked and ran off into the living room, I've been in here by myself with the newborns ever since" just then the tiny baby hedgehog let out a tiny sneeze that caused bliss and cream to jump slightly from the surprise , "oh dear does someone have a sneezey in there nose?" cream asked as the baby let out a small whimper before falling back to sleep against its mothers fur, "so cute but silver and knuckles need to know what there babys are so were gonna tell them to get there butts in here and start bonding with there babys as well!" cream stated as she left the bedroom and ordered the guys to go bond with there newborns, it didn't take long before the guys were in the bedroom with bliss, sliver and knuckles both crawled up onto the bed as they watched the tiny newborns happily napping away, "awww there cute when there sleeping!" knuckles stated as he stroked the baby echidna softly on the head with his glove, silver laid down next to bliss and stared in wonder at his baby hedgehog "wow look at that colouring on its quills...it kinda looks like me!" silver said quietly as the baby whimpered in its sleep, "well HE should, after all HE is your son silver" bliss said with a giggle as silver was beside himself with happiness, "its a boy?!!!! i have a son?!! this is the best day ever!!!!" silver stated and he pulled bliss into a deep kiss, knuckles looked at his sleeping newborn and asked quietly "what gender is this little one bliss?" bliss smiled at knuckles and stated "that one is a girl knuckles! meet your daughter!" knuckles almost burst into tears upon hearing that his newborn was a little girl, "your gonna be daddy's little girl!!! my little....little....uhhh knucklena!" knuckles stated as bliss face palmed, she was to busy with the current excitement to tell knuckles no for that name so she let him name the baby that, she turned and looked at silver who was currently picking up his tiny baby boy carefully, "bliss i think i have the perfect name for him if thats alright with you?" silver asked as bliss smiled at him and said "what is the name that you wish to call him silver my dear?" bliss asked as silver stated "i want to name him mist! if thats alright with you my darling?" bliss nodded and licked silvers cheek, "that name sounds great to me silver" bliss stated as they all continued to bond with the newborns on the bed.
