Hope Blooms Forth From The Battlegrounds!

Part 7: A Special Meet Up!

As the day passed into the afternoon bliss soon realized that silver was becoming restless not having anything to do but stay stuck in that bed all day, so after a routine check up on him she happily signed the snow white hedgehog out of the restoration HQ. As silver happily pulled bliss into a kind hug he thanked her for helping him as bliss thanked him back for doing the same but to her surprise he started acting kinda like how the commander had been acting eariler and upon leaving the room he handed her a note and said in a soft tone to her "please read that once i leave thanks" bliss nodded in curiosity and watched as he left the room. Once she was alone in the main office of the medical unit she finally opened up the letter that stated, "hey bliss i wanted to tell you how much fun i had the other night when we were chatting all night long and i thought that perhaps we could do something like that again. If you would like to do so i will be waiting on the beach around 5pm tomorrow night, i really hope to meet you there. Signed silver the hedgehog" bliss was moved by the note as she thought the invite over in her head and agreed to meet up with him. The next day was odd to bliss cause whenever she asked to speak to commander knuckles about anything his personal assistant would just tell her that he was busy or that he was prepping for a team discussion latter that day, she tried to ignore it and push it out of her mind but it still bothered her that she wasn't able to speak to the commander like they had been able to do so before. The day was as usual as she did her paper work at her desk in her office she would sometimes be called into the medial unit to fix up the odd soldier who had gotten hurt in practice or gotten banged up in a fight with some of dr eggmans evil robots but nothing to sevear, but as the clock struck 5pm and she was just shutting up the medical unit she happily skipped out of the HQ and headed out to the beach where she sure enough found silver standing there, "hey silver i hope you weren't waiting to long!" bliss said jokingly with a giggle as silver turned around and happily ran to meet up with her, he waisted no time in pulling her into a big hug "oh bliss you have no idea how happy i am to see you again! i was scared that you might not want to meet up with me..but here you are! here! come with me i want to show you something!' silver stated as he led her over to a spot on the beach and he pointed to it, "bliss this was the very spot where i was the day i found you!...i though you might want to see it...i hope you don't find that weird...do you?" silver asked in a nervous manner as bliss giggled and shook her head at the nervous hedgehog, "no silver i don't find that weird at all, i think its neat that you remembered and quite sweet to!" bliss happily replied thus causing silver to lightly blush in response, he then quickly snapped out of it as he showed her a bag that he had brought with him. "i brought some supplies for when you showed up!" silver said with a smile as he pulled out a blanket and laid it down on the sand, "here sit down with me on the blanket bliss! so we can chat and not get sand everywhere" silver happily exclaimed as bliss giggled and sat down with him as they proceeded to chat well into the night together.
