Part 3: Wakening Again!

A few days latter the girl who had been saved from drowning had finally started to come to at long last. As she groggily opened her eyes and looked around the room that she was laying in her gaze landed on a pink furred female hedgehog who was smiling down at her, "well hey there! I'm glad that you finally came around at last, my name is amy rose whats yours?" amy asked as the girl simply stated "oh my name is bliss oasis and I'm a.....wait.....wait where is it?!!!! wheres the emerald!!!!!" bliss stated starting to become frantic. Amy gently pushed bliss back down against her bedding and stated in a calm tone, "what emerald are you talking about bliss?" upon hearing this blisses eyes weld up with tears as she opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by a unknown males voice. Both amy and bliss looked at the doorway to the room where into the room walked what looked to bliss like a red male echidna, but how could that be, she hadn't seen another of her kind in years. She stared at him as he walked over to her bedside and spoke up, "easy amy! didn't i hear you say something about her just waking up at long last!" amy smiled and giggled as the red echidna male turned to look at bliss who was stilling starting dumbfoundly at him. "Let me guess my dear, you were a protector of a priceless gem and something broke into your santuary and took it, am i right?" the male asked as bliss nodded at him, "yes! I'm the soul protector and priestess of the eternal aquarian master emerald, i was just doing my job when these weird little things that looked like drill robots broke into my tribes home and they grouped together and shattered the gem..i feel like a failure...i was the only one left to protect it and i failed...you have no idea how this feels..." bliss stated as the male placed his spiked gloved hand gently on her shoulder and said to her with a kind smile, "actually my dear i totally know how your feeling! you see the same thing happened to me in my past, but look at me now! I'm the commander of our little team known as the resistance and so if i was able to pick myself up from the ashes of my past and make a new life with all my new friends then so can you! heck your already on your way!" he stated as bliss looked up at him in confusion, "i am? how?" bliss asked as the male laughed and stated bluntly "you have already found your new friends! there us! and if you want to you can join our team cause I'm prety sure that your fighting the same villain that we all are! so what do you say?!" he asked as he extended his gloved hand towards her thus making her take her eyes off of him and onto his hand. She sniffled back a tear as she smiled up at him and amy and bliss nodded to them, "well then thats fantastic news! welcome to the team!, now we just need to find your strengths and that will tell us where we should place you in our squad!" the male stated as he scratched his head trying to figure out what this newbie might be good at.  "Commander knuckles she had this with her when the medic team brought her in, maby it can help you figure out her strengths!" amy stated as she turned away from bliss and removed from a nearby cabinet bliss's healing and purity staff, upon seeing this the commanders eyes went wide as a big smile spread quickly across his face. "Hey thats a healing staff amy! this means that this girl here is a healer! so bliss my dear if you don't mind, i would like to place you as head medic of our HQ, does that sound good with you?" "commander knuckles asked as bliss smiled up at him and nodded more than happly to be placed in such a position. Knuckles smiled at her and stated "well then its settled! amy when bliss is feeling better i would like you to show her all around the medic and restoration HQ!" amy nodded happily at the commander as he patted bliss on the shoulder again and whispered to her before leaving the room, "I'm so happy to find another echidna after all these years!" As he left the room bliss could hear amy giggling, as bliss looked over to her right to find amy starting at her with a big grin on her face and saying, "i think the commander likes you bliss, especially if he made you head of the medical HQ at the same time as meeting you for the first time, you should feel happy about this!" amy said softly to bliss just incase knuckles might still be lingering around somewhere nearby in the hallways.
