Part 11: Preping For The Final Fight!

The next morning bliss woke up and found herself laying on her sofa with a blanket laying ontop of her. As she remembered what had gone on the night before she remembered falling asleep with silver against the sofa, she eagerly threw off the blanket and started searching for the white hedgehog but he was no where to be found, "maybe he's getting ready for the big fight today...{sigh} i guess i better do my part as well, i don't want any of my friends getting hurt without me there to help them out!" bliss stated as she got ready and then headed out to meet up with the rest of the fighters. Once she had finally arrived in the briefing room she sure enough found commander knuckles along with sonic and amy lecturing the fighters about how they were going to go about this final war, upon seeing bliss amy pulled her up onto the platform that they were all standing on as commander knuckles pointed at her and stated, "thanks to sonic here we will be having the best of the best heading up the on field medical unit so get ready cause bliss has showed some extra ordinary healing skills when it comes to patient turn out, so rest assured that even if you get injured out there that bliss here will get you patched up and back out there fighting again in no time flat! isn't that right bliss?" commander knuckles asked with a smile as bliss smiled back at him and nodded as knuckles gave her a thumbs up. It didn't take long for the rest of the lecture to be finished and once done they all headed on out to the battle field. As bliss was setting up her medical unit knuckles walked over to her and took her hand in his and stated softly, "please bliss please keep yourself safe. Don't worry about us out there  fighting in the field got it?" bliss nodded as she hugged him and replied, "i will stay safe but like i stated the other day commander, the health and safety of our fighters is why I'm here! so if theres a fighter nearby who's about to get injured then i will intervene! remember i protected a gem for a long time so I'm just as skilled in protecting others as i am in healing up the hurt, ill, or injured!" knuckles sighed in defeat as he pulled her into another hug and softly kissed her cheek before running off to talk to the troops. As she watched on from her medical tent she could see silvers quills shining in the sunlight from the field, she sighed as she saw him look at knuckles and then look back at where the tent was, bliss could clearly see silvers quills perk up upon seeing her there and as the fight was starting thats when she noticed the necklace and locket that silver had given her was glowing a slight turquoise colour and as she looked at it a small barrier popped forth from the emerald in the locket, the barrier took over the entire tent as bliss giggled, "aww so thats why silver made this for me, it has some of his powers in it and with them along with my master emerald shard its boosting its barrier power to protect me.....oh silver how sweet of you!..." bliss whispered out loud as amy and cream ran to join bliss in the medical unit tent as the fight finally started.
