Part 10: Silvers Feelings Revealed To Bliss!

As the days leading up to the final battle with egg man and infinite drew closer and closer bliss, amy, and cream found themselves quite busy patching up the injured fighters as they kept training with no end in sight. It was currently 11pm on the eve of the battle and bliss was in her room when a soft knock was heard on her door, as she got up to see who it was she opened the door to find silver standing there. He looked nervous as bliss told him to come on into her quarters for a while. She knew that a good chunk of the troops were still up due to there lights still being on in there bedroom windows of the resistance base so finding silver being still awake at this hour didn't surprise her at all. She motioned for him to come sit with her on the sofa which he gladly accepted and as they sat down next to each other bliss asked, "you couldn't sleep either silver? are you scared about tomorrow?" silver simply nodded as he told her that commander knuckles had stated in his briefing earlier that day that bliss was gonna be the head field medic during the battle and that idea scared the hell out of him, bliss knew that she and silver were good friends and she did have some feelings towards him it was just at that moment when he was panicking that she had to try and calm him down. She softly ran her hand against his face as she quietly told him to relax, "i can't relax bliss! i won't relax cause...cause bliss you see....that day when i saved you....upon hearing you breath again all because of my actions... it made me....i...felt something towards you bliss and it wasn't until commander knuckles told us about you being on the battle field when i started to feel protective of you....oh how do i say this to you bliss....IM IN LOVE WITH YOU BLISS!!!" silver blurted out loudly as blisses mouth fell open from shock. She knew that he liked her but she had no idea that he LOVED her, "oh silver i...i...i love you to" bliss stated as she wrapped her arms around his body and buried her face against his chest fur. "You....you do? cause if so then i will promise you that i won't let anything hurt you on that battlefield! and as long as I'm still breathing i will protect you bliss! oh and i made you something...its for your piece of the master emerald so you won't loose it again!" silver stated as he handed her a small silver locket that was just big enough for her emerald shard, "oh silver its beautiful! thank you so much!" bliss cooed over the locket as she attempted to put it on but silver stopped her, "i want to show you what i can do bliss...i haven't showed you my powers yet cause i was scared that you might find them scary or weird, but now that we know how each other feels i think i can finally show you them! behold bliss my powers of psykoconisis!" silver stated as he used his powers to pick up the necklace with the locket on it and placed it around her neck carefully and gently. Upon seeing this bliss was beyond amazed, "silver! thats incredible! where did you ever learn to do that? i though those gloves were just a fashion statement! i didn't know that they could help you do such awesome things like that?! wow!!" Bliss exclaimed excitedly as silver blushed and rubbed the back of his head in shyness, "oh its nothing really bliss, you see where i originally came from, having these kinds of powers is kinda the norm around there, so it just came naturally to me thats all really!" silver stated as he realized that bliss was happily burying her face against his chest fur and staring to fall asleep while in his arms. Silver smiled at her as he yawned as well and laid back against the back of the sofa and allow sleep to finaly wash over them.Now that he knew that bliss loved him as much as he loved her, silver knew now that he was more than ready to face the coming dangers of the following day, especially if it was to keep his love safe from harm.
