Chapter-5 "Sorry"

Bondita went behind Jahnvi continuously apologizing for her stupid behavior, but she neither stopped, nor forgave her. When they reached in the corridor, Jahnvi said angrily, " Stop it Bondita! I don't want to listen to your sorry. Already you have done too much, now for God's sake leave me"

Jahnvi and Bondita affectionately call each other Bondi and Jaanu, but when they are angry, they call one another by their actual name. It's their way of showing their disappointment.

"Sorry na Jaanu. I agree that I made a mistake, but now please forgive me" Bondita apologized.

Jahnvi thought something and spoke up, " I will forgive you but I have one condition"

Listening to her words Bondita's face lit up. "I will do anything. "

"But first listen what is the condition"

"No I don't need to listen I am totally fine with all your condition" Bondita said because she knew that her Jaanu would not give her a tough task.

"You will have to say sorry to Anirudh and then I will forgive you" Jahnvi said and Bondita's smile vanished.

"What! " Bondita almost shouted but the latter kept her hand on her mouth to prevent her from shouting, as they were in the corridor.

"Yes you heard it right. You have to say sorry to ANIRUDH"

"But-" Before Bondita could say anything the bell rang, indicating them that the classes have started.

"No ifs and buts. If you want my apology then you have to say sorry to Anirudh, after college" Jahnvi said and went away. While Bondita was standing there still.

Now I will have to say sorry to Mr. AAA. Great!

She can't do anything except to say agree with Jahnvi. She sighed and went in class. In all the classes she was busy making a speech for how to say sorry to Anirudh. She didn't have any choice too. She will have to do it. No matter what!

As the last bell rang, all the students ran outside the class. Jahnvi looked towards Bondita and showed her a thumbs up. Bondita can't do anything rather to give a fake smile. Jahnvi internally chuckled seeing her and they both came out of the class.

"But how will I find him? " Bondita said to Jahnvi.

"Umm... You go in the playground. I will send him there only" Jahnvi said.

"Oky" Bondita sighed.

Jahnvi started walking in the corridor and muttered to herself. "Now what would I do? I don't know why did I say her to say sorry to Anirudh. Where will I find him? Oh god! " She didn't see the spilled water on the floor and slipped on it. In the fear of falling, she closed her eyes, but she didn't fall, rather felt a strong hand around her waist. She slowly opened her eyes and saw that Samar was holding her. They both were lost in each other, when Anirudh came and fake coughed. SaNvi (Samar+Jahnvi) instantly got away from each other.

"I think I came at wrong time. You both continue" Anirudh teased them while Samar glared at him.

Let your turn come, then I will show you who I am.

Samar thought and smirked, while Anirudh got scared of his intentions.

"Anirudh! " Jahnvi called him as she needed to send him in playground where Bondita was waiting for him. "actually Bondita wanted to say something to you. So, please can you go to playground. She is waiting for you there."

Anirudh didn't know why but his heart started pounding faster. "Wh-What did she want to say" He asked her nervously. While Samar smirked seeing him.

"You will get to know once you reach there"

"Okay" Anirudh replied and went towards playground. Jahnvi and Samar gave each other an awkward smile and left quickly.

In the playground, Bondita was waiting for Anirudh and was muttering to herself. "Huh! That Mr. AAA is really a warlock, who have spelled my innocent Jaanu, that's why she is asking me to say sorry to him. I know these are not Jaanu's words, he have probably done something on her. And what was he speaking about himself, Smart and Handsome, huh! He is a donkey in human disguise. How dare he to say me dumb and duffer-

"and dramatic too"

"Yes! That wicked man! What was his name something what Roy and.... "

"Anirudh Roy Chaudhary. "

"Yes that Anirudh Roy Chaudhary... Wait! Who are you? " She turned back and saw Anirudh standing behind her. She quickly turned to another side and bit her tongue. Again turning towards him, she passed him a nervous smile.

"Umm..... Actually... I-I... was.. "

"You were talking ill about me" Anirudh said sarcastically while she exclaimed excitedly ," Yes! "

"What! "

"I-I..mean no. I was just... "

"Okay leave and tell me why did you called me here? "

"When did I called you? " She said confused.

"Your friend told me that you called me here"

"What! "

"Yes"

"It means that Jaanu have said lie and screwed me here!" Bondita muttered to herself.

"Did you say something? "

"Na.. No.. What did I say? "

"No I heard someone muttering something"

"No I didn't heard anyone"

"But I really heard someone"

"Okay leave that! And now tell me why you came here? "

"I should ask you this. Why did you called me here"

"Oh yes! I wanted to say something to you"

Anirudh's heartbeat again increased. "Yes say I am listening"

"I-I..am sorry" She said with much difficulty.

"Sorry? For what? "

"For fighting with you for no reason"

"Oh so finally! You realised your mistake"

"Yes now forgive me and let me go"

"No I will not forgive you " Anirudh said shocking Bondita.

"What but why? "

"You have irritated me a lot and I will not forgive you this easily"

"Listen! You have also irritated me a lot. I am apologizing to you just because of my friend" Bondita said trying not to get angry.

"Okay then I will say to your friend that you didn't said sorry, but again started fighting with me." Anirudh said and started taking mild steps towards the college.

"Oh common! Stop me" He thought in his mind.

"Wait" She called him. He grinned and after making a serious expression, he again turned towards her.

"Now what? "

"Tell me what you want" She said unwillingly

"I want an ice cream and then I will forgive you"

Bondita sighed and then giggled softly. " Bas! Itni si baat! Chalo main khilati hu tumhe ice cream " (Just this much! Come I will give you an ice cream treat )

They both smiled at each other and went towards the ice cream stall.
