Chapter-27 "Rescue (II)

Anirudh's POV:-

"Bonditaaaa!!! " I screamed when I saw Trisha raising her hand to stab her. But someone hit Trisha on her head with a rod. I looked up at the person who hit Trisha. I was shocked when I saw John holding the rod.

"Ahhhhh" Bondita screamed as Trisha stabbed her but because of John's attack the knife hit her a little away from the intestine.

I quickly rushed to her and took her in my arms and kept her head in my lap. I was horrified to see her condition. Her dress was fully covered with blood and her hands, which were holding her wound, were red. I can't help but to cry hard. Everyone rushed to us. John handed over an unconscious Trisha to police.

"Bondita! " Jahnvi, Neeraj uncle, Ankita aunty and Kartik screamed and sat beside us.

They all started crying seeing her condition.

"Ani....Anirudh" She managed to say.

I immediately took her hands in mine. "Ye...yes Bondita. I am listening you, say. "

"Anirudh! Before dying...... I want...... to s.....say something to you. "

"Don't say like this Bondita! Nothing will happen to you. " I said crying.

"Ani...... Anirudh! I.... I love you" She said and smiled with satisfaction.

"I love you too Bondita. " I said controlling my tears and hugged her.

Her eyes were getting heavy. I panicked and patted her cheeks. "Bon......Bondita don't close your eyes. Don't close your eyes. Please Bondita "

She closed her eyes fully. "Bonditaaaa!!!" I cried and then only the moon, which was hiding behind the clouds till now, shone brightly and the moonlight hit straight on her face. She opened her eyes with a jerk but I was shocked to see her eyes. Her eye colour was not brown anymore but blue. All her wounds got cured automatically.

I looked around and everyone was equally shocked like me but Neeraj uncle and Ankita aunty looked happy more than shocked.

I felt something odd. Bondita again closed her eyes. "What was it? " Jahnvi whispered.

"It's not the time to think something. Take Bondita to hospital fast." Neeraj uncle said and I immediately took her in my arms and rushed to the car. I made her lay on the back seat with her head in my lap and her legs on Jahnvi's lap. She was continuously rubbing her feet. Kartik was sitting in the front seat. Samar quickly drove to the city hospital.

As soon as we reached there, I fastly called the doctor. I carried Bondita in my arms and made her lay on the bed. The doctor came and asked us to go out.

"No I will not go anywhere. " I said sternly.

"Anirudh try to understand. " Samar patted my back.

"No I will not leave her." I cried.

"Anirudh! Doctor needs to check her please come outside. " Samar said and dragged me outside. I sat there crying. Kaka and maa consoled me. Baba and Neeraj uncle went to the reception. Kartik, Jahnvi and Ankita aunty were standing in front of the durgga maa's idol, folding their hands.

After few minutes, which seemed to be like ages, doctor came out. I rushed to her and bombarded her with questions.

"Where is Bondita? Is she fine? " I asked her impatiently.

"Mr Anirudh calm down! She is absolutely fine. Due to stress and dehydration she fainted. She will get her consciousness in few hours. There is nothing to worry about. Just make sure that she drink plenty of water. " She said and kaka sighed in relief. "Dhanyavaad dugaa maa. "

"Can we meet her?" Jahnvi asked the doctor.

The doctor nodded and we all rushed in her room. She was laying on the bed with closed eyes. Jahnvi sat on her left while I sat on her right side and we both held her hands.

It was already too late. Kaka and maa suggested that now we should go but I was not ready to leave her. After a lot of discussion it was decided that I will stay with her and everyone will go back home as everyone was tired with whatever happened.

In the midnight, I heard some noise. I opened my eyes just to find Bondita trying to fetch water. She looked at me and I immediately hugged her. I cried on her shoulder and she patted my back.

"Shh... Anirudh why are you crying? I am all fit and fine. " She wishpered and I broke the hug.

"You know how much scared I was when I saw that Trisha....... " I was not able to complete my sentence as that horrible scene flashed in front of my eyes. I clenched my fists and closed my eyes tightly.

"Anirudh" She cupped my face. "Forget whatever happened. Let's live a new life ahead."

I nodded and smiled at her. I made her lay down and was patting her head when she held my hand and got up.

"Anirudh what is this? " She said worriedly pointing towards my hand. I looked at my hand just to find a cut there. May be in all that ruckus I didn't noticed it. I hid my hand behind my back.

"No......nothing" I said nervously and she frowned.

She again took my hand and tears flowed down her eyes seeing my wound. She immediately took the first aid kit from the side drawer.

"Bondita I am fi-" I protested but she shushed me. I groaned and sat down like an obedient child. She giggled seeing me. She applied antiseptic lotion to clean the blood from there and I winced in pain.

"Sorry sorry " She said and blew on my hand to stop the heating sensation. She cleaned the wound and was applying the ointment. I thought something mischievous and fake winced. She flinched and stared at me for sometime in suspicion.

"What happened? " She asked me.

"It's burning" I said innocently.

"Okay" She said and leaned on my hand. I closed my eyes to again feel her breath on me but she pressed my wound more.

"Ouchh" I shouted. "What are you doing? " I said rubbing my hand.

"I was just checking that how can a cooling ointment can cause burning on your hand." She said sarcastically.

"So...so.... so what? It's burning to me " I said nervously and she glared me. I again sat down quietly. She snatched my hand and again started her work. I was staring her while she applied ointment on my hand. She looked at me and frowned, asking why are you staring me. I shook my head a little. She sighed and again got engaged in her work and I in my work.
