Chapter-37 "Marriage (IV)"

"Look! The sindoor fell on her nose. It means that her husband will love her till eternity" An aunty said while I and Bondita blushed hard.

After the seven vows, I was asked to fill Bondita's hairline with vermilion. I filled her hairline but some of it fell on her nose too.

"See how much they are blushing! " Samar exclaimed making us blush more while everyone laughed.

"Now tie the nuptial chain around her neck. " Pandit ji commanded me and I tied the nuptial chain around her neck. While doing so I intentionally touched her neck. She gasped slowly and looked towards me while I winked at her and she flushed red.

"And the marriage is completed! From now on you both are tied together for every births. " Pandit ji declared and everyone clapped.

Now it was the time for vidaayi. Bondita stepped out the threshold of her house with teary eyes and threw back five handful of rice over her head. She went towards her parents and cried hugging them. I so wanted to keep her in my embrace and wipe her tears but it was a ritual and also I don't want to come in middle of a daughter and her parents. She then went towards Jahnvi and hugged her tightly.

"Why are you crying? I will stay there only in front of your house. " She tried to lighten up the mood and Bondita laughed with her teary eyes.

Bondita and Kartik dada hugged each other and cried. I know that the bond of sister and brother is the most beautiful. They always fight with each other but on this day, they cry for each other. I don't have a sister but Jahnvi is not less than my sister.

After that we sat in the car and Kartik dada and some of Bondita's cousins pushed the car. The car moved on and Bondita tried to see her family unless they were not visible. I wiped her tears and put my arm around her shoulder. She smiled and buried her face in my chest. The rest of the journey was in silence. I was adoring her and she was listening my heartbeat and about driver? Well, he was just driving the car, minding his own business.

"Now slightly kick the kalash with your right leg and enter in house after dripping your feet in the alta " Maa instructed Bondita.

I and Bondita were standing on the doorstep. Maa did our aarti and then asked Bondita to enter in house after doing griha pravesh. Bondita followed her instructions and slightly pushed the decorated kalash, filled with rice and then stepped in the red alta filled plate and stepped inside the house, leaving her footprints.

Everyone retired to their room, as it was a very tiring and busy day. I went in my room and saw the most beautiful sight. Bondita was removing her jewellery and there was no makeup on her face. I guess she may have washed her face. I hugged her from back, she gasped.

"It's me" I whispered in her ear and kept my chin on her shoulder. Her cheeks got crimson red.

"Anirudh what are you doing?"

"Loving my beautiful wifey." I turned her towards me. "Any problem? "

She blushed and shook her head.

"But I need to change. You know this lehenga is so heavy! " She complained like a child and I giggled listening her cute talks.

"Now leave me or else.... "

"Or else? " I asked her in a husky voice leaning towards her. She pushed me and ran away.

"Bonditaaa! " I chased her but she was very fast. Her pallu fell off her head but we continued our game. She ran past the bed and her bun opened making her long hairs flow. I was about to catch her but she thrown the duvet on me and stood on bed. I removed the duvet from my face and she was showing her tongue to me in a teasing way. I jumped on bed to catch her but she slipped off the bed. She went towards the window and I quickly blocked her path and smirked.

"Now where will you go? "

Just then we heard someone knocking the door. I opened the door to find maa standing with some clothes.

"What happened maa? " I asked her but she ignored me and went inside. Everything was a mess inside the room. The duvet was sleeping on the floor, the rose petals on the bed were also messed up. I saw maa smirking and I know what is she thinking. Hopefully Bondita have already covered her hairs with her chunni.

"Ummm.... Bondita here are your night clothes. " She forwarded some clothes to Bondita. She nodded and maa went outside. "Sorry to disturb you! " Maa said and faded away from our eyesight while I and Bondita looked at each other, dumbfounded.

"It's all because of you! " She threw the clothes on the bed. "What she would be thinking? "

"What do you mean only me? You were also running from me and this... " I picked up the duvet. "This you only thrown on me. "

"So who told you to run behind me. "

"I don't want to talk to you. Miss..... Mrs. DDD "

"I also don't want to talk to you Mr. AAA"

She went in the bathroom for changing her clothes and I changed my clothes in the room itself and laid down on the bed. She didn't came out of the bathroom since 10 minutes! Is she fine? I knocked on the door.

"Bondita! "

No answer came and I again banged the door. "Bondita! Are you there? "

Still no answer. I now started panicking. "Bondita!! Bondita! Are you fine? Reply to me! "

"Y-yes Anirudh! " She finally replied and I sighed in relief.

"What's taking you so long? "

"These clothes are not my old night suits. "

"So what! Come fast. It's too late we need to sleep also. "

"But-"

"No but come fast NOW! "

I heard the sound of door unlocking and she came out while I was just stunned to see her. She was wearing a noodle strap white coloured sexy night gown, which suited her well, defining her curves. I saw that she was a little hesitant to wear something like this in front of me so I hugged her.

"Why were you hesitating? " I asked her.

"Because I thought that what you will say" She said lowering her face.

I made her look towards me while holding her chin. "You never have to be hesitated near me. If you aren't feeling comfortable than you can wear this.... " I brought my shirt and lower and gave it to her. She smiled at me, "Thank you "

I nodded and she went inside to change but she again turned back, kissed my cheek and went away giggling and shying. While I stood there blushing hardly.

This girl drives me crazy! 

Author's POV:-

"I will snatch your all happiness! You will never get the love of your life " A girl laughed evilly and burnt Anirudh and Bondita's wedding photo from middle, parting them away. She thrown it and went from there.

But as said, none can separate two true lovers from each other. The wind from the window blew, extinguishing the fire. The photos blew away in a corner and Anirudh and Bondita's photos again got merged.
