Chapter-30 "Decision"

Anirudh's POV:-

"Maa! Baba! Kaka! " I called everyone in the living room.

"Oh ho Anirudh! Why are shouting? " Kaka said irritatedly.

"What happened beta? " Maa came running from the kitchen.

"Now what new drama you are starting? " Baba asked me, adjusting his specs. I rolled my eyes at his comment.

"Baba! Bondita told me that you all have decided our marriage? " I asked him.

"Yes! We did. Why? Don't you love each other? " Kaka interrupted us.

"When did I say this? " I said annoyed.

"So what problem you are having? " Baba said.

"Baba. I am not having any problem with the marriage. But.... " I stopped as I realised what I was going to say.

"What but? " Maa asked me narrowing her eyes.

"What happened? " Batuk and som entered the scene.

Bas inki hi kami thi.

"Ask to your dada" Kaka said glaring me.

They both looked at me.

Great! Now I am screwed up.

"You both just shut up! Let me talk. "

"Maa see how dada is talking to us" Both said in unison to maa.

"Anirudh! " Maa called me. "What happened? Tell me patiently. "

I calmed a bit. Taking a deep breath, I finally said. "Maa why didn't you asked us before fixing our marriage? "

"Because we all know that you guys love each other. " Baba said irritated and a bit loud.

Maa held his hand to calm him down and looked at me. "Anirudh come with me. " She called me in her room and I followed her, giving a last look to everyone present there.

"What happened Anirudh? Now tell me honestly. " Maa asked me as I entered in her room.

"Maa this is the only reason. You guys didn't asked to us. "

"I know this is not the real reason" She said narrowing her eyes and here I lost. I can't hide anything with my maa.

I sighed. "I wanted to propose her"

She looked at me angrily and I gazed the floor. I expected an outburst from her but she laughed. Why the hell is she laughing? Isn't she angry on me?

"Oh my god Anirudh! " She said catching her breath after laughing. "I don't know when did you became a Romeo"

I widened my eyes at her. "Maa? "

"I know what you are thinking. But don't worry it's your age of doing all these things. "

Maa is just like my another friend. I can share everything with her freely. But I didn't expected that she will talk to me so openly on these topics, anyways. Shrugging my thoughts I thought that now my plan is ruined. I was not able to confess my love to her and so wanted to proposer her for marriage.

"But maa! Now what can I do? " I said sadly.

"Don't worry! Go and propose her, the way you wanted. " She said.

"But she knows that we are marrying"

"No issues. If you will propose her then she will be more happy. "

I think that she may be happy and more comfortable with our marriage if I will give her time. I have read some romantic novels and that's why I know that girls like their lover's company.

I nodded happily and went in my room, smiling. I will give you a very beautiful surprise. Get ready, would be Mrs. Anirudh Roy Chaudhary. I blushed at my own assumptions and slept hugging my pillow with a smile still on my face.

Bondita's POV:-

"Bondita! Jahnvi told us that you have taken your decision. " Mumma said as I entered sat on the dining table for dinner.

"Yes mumma" I replied.

"So what did you decide? " Kartik dada asked me.

I narrowed my eyes at him. Why the hell is he being so excited? It's my marriage not his. Wait! His marriage! Kartik dada's marriage. He should also marry. It's been too long. Now it's his age to marry.

"Leave about me. Tell about your life. " I asked him with a smirk.

"What do you mean? "

"Papa don't you think that Kartik dada should also marry. " I said to papa, ignoring his question.

"Hmm Kartik! Now you should marry. Your both sisters are married. We want to see our grandchildren before dying." Papa said and I looked towards Kartik dada who was blushing and shying.

"Papaa! " He groaned and I bit my lips, controlling a laugh.

"What happened Kartik? Now you should marry. It's been too long. I want a daughter-in-law. " Mumma added fuel in fire.

"But mom it's Bondita's marriage first. " He said.

"So what? We will marry you with her only. " Papa said teasingly.

"Papa" He said in frustration and we all burst into a hearty laughter.

"Kartik dada! Look at your face. " I said laughing.

"You...... Wait" He said and started chasing me while I started running around the table.

"You both stop! What are you doing? Eat your food first" Mumma said and we both stopped. I smirked at Kartik dada and sat on my table. We all had a peaceful dinner.

After dinner, I was going in my room when papa called me.

"Princess! What have you decided?"

"Yes" I said.

"Yes? " He asked confused.

"Yes! I am ready to marry him. " I said and he hugged me.

"Oh thank god! You agreed. " He said and then mumma also hugged me.

"Finally you will marry now. " She said caressing my hairs.

And the last but not the least Kartik dada hugged me too. "Congratulations."

He broke the hug and I smiled at them when I heard Jaanu's voice.

"Bondiii! " She screamed and hugged me tightly. "I am very happy for you. "

I was confused as how she came here. I looked at the gate and saw Samar jiju smiling, standing on the gate.

I hugged her back. "Thank you. And now I think that we will spend more time with each other. " She broke the hug and smiled.

"Congratulations Bondita" Samar jiju said and I thanked them all.

I went to my room with Jaanu.

"By the way how did you agree? " She asked me.

"Why? Aren't you happy? " I said raising my brows.

"No no! I am just surprised that how a stubborn girl like you agreed to the marriage so suddenly. "

"Anirudh assured me that we will not leave our studies. "

"Ohhhhh" Jahnvi said teasingly. "Anirudh assured, then you agreed but I was convincing since 5 days then you didn't agreed. "

A shy smile appeared on my face but before she can catch me I pushed her out of the room.

"Ok now go from here and spend some quality time with your husband. " I said and closed the door.
