Chapter-16 "Water Fight"

Anirudh's POV:-

We talked for a while and she fell asleep on my shoulder. Her face was looking more pretty in the moonlight. Some of her hair strands fell on her face and I slowly tucked them behind her ears, not to disturb her sleep. She snuggled more in me and wrapped her arms around my neck, thinking me to be her pillow. I carefully carried her in my arms and went in our room. Yes OUR ROOM, but just for few hours. I wish to share a single room with her in future.

I lied her on the bed and was going but she held my hand. I was confused what to do. I tried to remove her hand from mine but she held it more tightly. I sat beside her and stared at her face lovingly. Soon sleep engulfed me and I slept in that position only, holding her hand and resting my head on the bed.

I woke up to find me on the bed. I remembered yesterday night's event and blushed. I searched for her in the room but she was no where to be seen. I went to search her outside and saw her near the river playing with some small children. She was looking so cute and I once again got lost in her. Her smile when the children were sprinkling water on her. Her mischievous laugh when she was sprinkling water on them.

Suddenly some water drops came on me and I came in reality from my La La Land. She was standing in front of, smirking, some water in her hands.

"No Bondita don't do this" I said understanding her intentions.

"I will do this" She said and thrown the water on me.

"You wait" I went towards the river and spotted a small bucket, may be of the children, who are playing here. I took the bucket and filled it with water and came towards her. She started running and I was chasing her. She stopped at the river and I smirked because she can't run now.

"No Anirudh please" She said moving a little back and I thrown the water on her due to which she slipped and held my hand for balance but I also lost my balance and we both fell down in the river.

"You dumb because of you I fell down in the river." She said angrily.

"Excuse me. It was you who held my hand and I also fell down with you. "

"So who thrown the water on me? "

"Who thrown first? "

"I just sprinkled some water and you thrown whole bucket on me "

And we started fighting again.

"Didi! Bhaiya! For you how much time will you fight? " A little girl said from the children's group, who were watching us fight. I then realised that I was holding Bondita from her waist and her arms were on my neck. She removed her hands with a jerk so did I.

We both hesitantly came out of the river. Her whole dress was drenched, enhancing her curves. Not able to handle her anymore, I quickly went in our room. A shy smile appeared on my face, remembering our moments.

"Hello? " Kaka said from the other side.

"Hello kaka! I am Anirudh"

"Anirudh! Are you fine? When will you come? And is Bondita ok? "

"Kaka, kaka! Calm down. We both are fine and we will come as soon as our car will be repaired. "

"Please come fast! If you have any problem should we send a mechanic from here? "

"Yes kaka if you can then please send a mechanic, there is no garage here. "

"Ok ok Don't worry we will do something and ENJOY" Kaka hung up the call.

Enjoy? What to enjoy here?

"Anirudh! what happened? " Bondita said from behind, wearing a white simple suit.

Usha Aunty have given us some clothes to wear as our clothes were drenched. I was wearing a traditional white kurta. Although I have never wore it before and I was uncomfortable in it but still I have no option.

"Nothing I just asked kaka to send some mechanic here so that our car can be repaired. "

"Oh that's great!"

"Hmm now come let's wait for the mechanic. "

Trilochan's POV:-

It's been almost 1 hour that Anirudh have not returned home yet. This boy! I am really frustrated. What was the need of a reception party again when there have been so many parties. And Binoy! I don't have words for this father-son duo. They both always land in trouble and then ask me to save them. Huh! Now also he is having his dinner. No worries about his son.

"Anirudh didn't came till now!" Shubhra exclaimed worriedly.

At least someone worries about this boy.

Shubhra came on the engagement of Samar and Jahnvi. Her mother have been slipped from the stairs and that's why Shubhra went there in order to take care of her. We insisted her that we will also come, but she denied saying that after 2 weeks Anirudh's college would start and someone should be there for him. Shubhra made her sons agree that she will come soon.

"Don't worry Shubhra he will come" Binoy said calmly.

I knew it. This binoy have just one slogan "Apna kaam banta bhaad main jaaye janta"

"What do you mean he will come? Don't you worry for him? " I asked him angrily.

"Of course da I am worried for him" He said adjusting his specs.

Then why aren't you doing anything Mr. Chasma laal ji

"So go and ask his friends about his whereabouts. " I said frustrated.

"Kaka! " Batuk and Som came running.

Only they were left!

"What happened? Why are you running like you saw a ghost? " I asked them irritated.

"Kaka! It's more scary than a ghost" Batuk said.

"Achha what is it? " I asked him sarcastically.

"I got a call from Jahnvi boudi that Bondita didi have not returned from the club till now!"

"What? "

"Yes"

We then called at Bondita's house and consoled her parents. After sometime there was a call at landline number. I was so much tensed that I didn't wanted to pick up the call but none was there. Shubhra went to Jahnvi's house to console her. Batuk, Som and Binoy were searching for them. I unwillingly picked the call and it was of Anirudh. He told me that Bondita is with him and they both are fine. I thanked durga maa and told everyone that they both are fine.

"Kaka don't you think that Anirudh dada and Bondita didi will look great together" Batuk said.

I glared at him and he was scared but then I grinned and he was confused.

"Kaka what happened? "

"Of course they look great together and I want Bondita to be the daughter in law of this house. "

Batuk's eyes widened at my statement.

"K...Ka... Kaka? "

"Yes"

He touched my forehead and I was confused.

"He is not having fever" He muttered but I heard him and glared at him.
