Chapter-14 "A Car Ride"

Bondita's POV:-

It's been a while since none of us said anything. I was just gazing outside the window. Those stars. I feel like someone is calling me, waiting for me. I don't know why but whenever I look at those stars it reminds me of someone, someone whom I never met, but still have a connection.

"Bondita" He called me.

"Hmm" I said lost in my world.

"Are you fine? "

"Hmm" I again hummed.

He then shook me and I came in out of my dreamland.

"What were you thinking? " He asked.

"Nothing"

He stared at me suspiciously while I made an innocent face. Nowadays I feel very different when I am near him. I gets attracted towards him. I remembered one incident. When it was haldi of Jaanu.....

Flashback

"Jaanu! How much time will you take to get ready? " I shouted almost 20th time. What is taking her so long? I went to her room and knocked at her door. "Jaanuu!! "

Why isn't she replying? Is she okay? I panicked and was going to open the door but someone pulled me and kept his hand on my mouth. I struggled to go out from his grip but all in vain. He was so strong than me but I am also Bondita Das. I kicked him on his knee.

"Ouchh...." He shouted and I turned back and was shocked to see Anirudh holding his knee where I just kicked.

"Anirudh? What are you doing here?" I asked him, still in shock.

"First you tell why did you beat me? " He said groaning.

"S-sorry.... So sorry Anirudh. I didn't knew it was you" I said and some tears forming in my eyes seeing him in pain.

"It's ok"

We heard some footsteps and looked at each other worriedly. In a blink of a second he pulled me in the nearby bathroom and kept his hand on my mouth again. I was feeling butterflies in my stomach. Our proximity was making me nervous and happy too.

He was looking outside, checking if the person has gone. He sighed and looked at me. I was lost in him. Those black orbs. But I came in reality and signalled him to remove his hand.

"What? " He asked confused.

I turned my eyes towards his hand and he removed it immediately.

"Sorry" He said and blushed. Wait a second... He blushed?

"You you are blushing? " I asked him excitedly.

"No when, where? " He said hiding his blush.

"Na na I saw you-" He interrupted me.

"First of all tell me why did you kicked me? "

"If you will hold a girl like a kidnapper, what she would do? " I said sarcastically.

"Achha sorry" He said so cutely.

"Aww how cute" I said and pulled his cheek. Then I realised what I just did. I can feel my cheeks heating up. I mumbled a sorry and turned, not able to face him and mentally face palmed my self. I turned towards him and we both gave each other a hesitating smile.

"Amm... By the way why you came here? " I asked breaking the awkward silence between us.

"Samar wanted to meet Jahnvi so he asked me for help. How can I deny him? So I agreed. He jumped in Jahnvi's room and I was outside, watching if somebody is not coming and you came in middle to spoil their moment that's why I have to do this" He narrated me the whole incident. I can't help but laugh loudly, holding my stomach.

"Oh my god!! " I somehow said between my laugh.

"Huh! Now don't laugh and think to get out of here" He said irritatedly.

Flashback ends

He snapped his fingers in front of me and I came out from my world.

"Hey are you fine? Why again and again you get lost? " He said.

"Amm... N.. Nothing" I said nervously.

"By the way I want to talk to you about Jahnvi"

"Hmm tell"

"Jahnvi and you are sisters? "

"Yes"

"Your surname is Das and her surname is Singh? "

"Yes"

"So how are you sisters? "

"By heart. I already told you that we have bond of sisters. " I said casually.

"I am not done yet. "

"Okay say"

"Why Jahnvi lives in your house? And where are her parents? " He asked me and the smile on my face instantly vanished. I never thought that he would ask something like this.

"Umm.... Be... Because" I was not knowing what to say.

"Because?"

"Because..... Yes... You ask to Jahnvi about this"

He raised an eyebrow on me.

How handsome.

Bondita! What are you thinking. I mentally slapped myself.

"Okay" He replied and focused on his driving. Suddenly a loud thud came and the car stopped.

"What happened? " I asked him.

"I don't know. May be the tyre got punctured. " He said.

"What!! " I yelled.

"Shh why are you shouting? " He shushed me.

"Now what we will do? "

"Wait" He said and got down of the car. I also followed him. We found the left tyre at backside to be punctured.

"Oh no " We both said in unison. I looked around and it was dark everywhere. Suddenly some owls started hooting and I held Anirudh's arm in fear.

"Wh-what happened? " He asked me nervously.

"I am very scared. " I said still looking around and he chuckled. I slapped his arm and he winced.

"Why are you laughing? " I asked him angrily.

"Because I thought that you are the fearless, the great, BONDITA DAS " He said sarcastically.

"You Mr. AAA" I said and turned away.

"Achha sorry. Now at least think of any solution. "

I got an idea. I took out my phone and tried to call someone for help. Damn! There is no network.

"You try to call by your phone " I said to him.

"Hmm" He took out his phone and looked at me nervously.

"What happened? " I asked him.

"My phone is dead" He replied slowly.

"You... Your car is jalopy and your phone is also useless like you"

"Achha so what about you? How is your phone? "

"There is no problem in my phone but there is no network over here "

"Now don't give excuses"

"I am not giving any excuses. "

"Ohh really! You know you are also useless miss DDD"

"You.... " We both turned away together. Suddenly the sounds of wild animals started coming and I became scared. I turned and hugged him.
