Anirudh's POV:-
It was my and Bondita's engagement. Everything was going fine until Kabir stepped in. He came and suddenly hugged Bondita. No I mean what the hell! How dare he to touch my Bondita!? I swear if he wasn't Bondita's friend I would have punched him on his nose. Ankita aunty dragged Bondita in her group and I was left with this Fakeer..... I mean Kabir.
"How do you know Bondita? " I asked him.
"Actually I and Bondu were childhood friend but then I went to Dubai for handling my father's business and then we didn't met with each other since 3 years. "
"Oh" I said. I didn't knew what to say more.
"By the way how did you guys met? " He asked.
"It's a long story. " I said.
"Tell me in short. " He requested.
"Hey guys! Come let's have food. " John interrupted us. I know John is just faking happiness. He is not at all happy. After all his first love was sentenced for 10 years of imprisonment in the offence of attempt to murder. Trisha was not made for him. I think that he should move on now.
"Anirudhhh! " Kabir brought me out of my thoughts.
"Yes! Yes? "
"What are you thinking? Come let's enjoy the food. " He said and I nodded.
We sat at a table and started eating and laughing.
"How is everything going on? " Bondita asked and sat beside me.
"Fine! What about you? " Jahnvi said.
Bondita rolled her eyes. "Nothing just aunties' talk. " Everyone laughed at this.
"By the way Kabir how you remembered me? I thought that you forgot me. " Bondita said dramatically.
"How can I forget you? You are my best friend. " He said and side hugged her while I held her hand firmly, beneath the table. She looked towards me confused and I gave a fake smile to her.
"What happened? " She whispered.
"Nothing" I replied still holding her hand.
"Anirudh what are you doing? "
"Holding my finance's hand. Any problem? " I said a bit angry.
"Of course I have a problem! If anyone would see then? "
"So what? We are officially engaged. "
"Just engaged not married. "
I brushed my leg with her and she gasped. "So we will marry too"
"Bondu! Is everything fine? " Kabir said and I left her hand.
Iska naam Kabir nahi kabab main haddi hona chahiye
Bondita gave a nervous smile and nodded her head. She then glared at me while I quietly ate the pakora, pretending as if nothing happened.
"Excuse me" She excused herself and went to washroom. I thought of something and took out my phone.
"Sorry guys am important call! Just a minute. " I said and went in a corner. Everyone again got engaged in their talks and I quietly sneaked in bathroom.
I went in the bathroom. She was washing her hands and I closed the door. She turned back. "Anirudh! What are you doing here? " She shrieked.
I moved towards her and she took her steps back. "Why, can't I spend sometime with you? "
