Chapter-10 "Party(I)"

So the party night was here finally! Roy Chaudhary Mansion was decorated with red roses and beautiful lights. The stage was covered with blue lights and flowers while the chairs were arranged in semi-circular way round the table. The guests started arriving, as the clock struck 8:00. Seeing their mouths wide open, I was sure that they were mesmerized by the decorations done by me, Batuk and Som. First came Samarth's Father, Vijay uncle, owner of Rajvansh industry.

"Wow Binoy! Your sons are very talented. The decoration is so beautiful" He commented, smiling at us.

"Yes" Baba said. "I am proud of them"

"Namaste uncle" Samar came, wearing a blue tuxedo and bent to touch baba's feet, as a sign of respect.

"Be happy and may you get your life partner soon" Baba blessed him while everyone laughed, making him blush.

"Oh look! Someone is shying" I teased him.

I wore a black tuxedo, paired with black shoes and a white shirt. I gelled my hairs nicely to make a good impression.

"Don't worry Ani! Let your turn come, then I will take my revenge" Samar whispered in my ear while I gulped in fear. I know what he is talking about and he won't spare me, but anyways, I won't stop teasing him.

"Dada! Look Bondita and Jahnvi didi came" Batuk pointed towards the gate and I looked towards the entrance just to get lost in Bondita. She was wearing an off-shoulder white gown, which fitted her perfectly. Her long hairs were tied up in a messy bun and a few strands of hairs fell on her exposed shoulder. She suddenly looked at me, but I wasn't able to take off my eyes from her. She came towards me and waved her hand in front of me, but I was in my own lala land.

"Anirudhhhhh" She shouted in my ear while I jumped and came in real world.

"Why are you shouting? " I said annoyed.

"Because you were not listening"

I rolled my eyes and looked at Samar, who was still lost in Jahnvi, making her blush profusely. Fortunately, our parents seemed not to notice anything, they were busy in their own talks. Jahnvi was wearing a dark blue gown with net sleeves, which matched with Samar's dress. I punched Samar's back, making him flinch and moan in pain.

"Anirudh! What is th-" Before he can shout at me, Jahnvi came to us.

"Hey"

"Hello Jahnvi" He said, forgetting me punching him a few moments ago.

"Oh look someone is twinning" Som said from behind and both of them blushed.

"Oh now you both stop blushing. " Bondita teased them.

Jahnvi and Samar, stopped shying and gave each other a hesitating smile.

"Will you introduce me to your family? " Bondita said to me.

"Yeah come! "

I guided her to kaka.

"Kaka! She is Bondita and Bondita he is my Kaka" I introduced them to each other.

"Namaste Uncle" She said and touched his feet.

"Arey jeeti raho" Kaka blessed her and I smiled.

"Come Bondita! Let's meet my father"

I showed her the way to baba, where her family was also present. A man, who wore a black suit, just like baba, looked a bit aged and I concluded him to be Bondita's father. Beside him, was standing a pretty woman, wearing a royal blue saree with black and golden border, who, probably, was her mother. Also, a man was there, who was wearing formal brown suit. Who was he? I wondered.
