(This is more like an interaction between characters because even though this is a starter book... I still like to write little sections or stories. But if you can find a way to respond to this and make it a starter then go ahead)

Mirage- (one of my newer OCs who has not yet been introduced in this book) was cleaning up his restaurant. They were 5 minutes away from closing for the night and it was late. He then heard the door open as he looked up from the dishes that he was cleaning. Mirage recognized who it was. "Haven't seen you in a while, has my restaurant finally gone below your standards~?" Mirage joked.

Kai rolled his eyes as he walked over to the bar table.

Mirage finished up with washing the dishes before stand at the bar table and leaning over, resting his elbows on the table as he props himself up, leaning forward. "So, mind explaining why you decide to come five minutes before closing? I thought heroes had more time on their hands~"

"I need you help with something.." Kai starts off as he sits down at the bar.

"What sort of thing do you need my help with?" Mirage asks, his ears perked forward.

"I need help with the mansion. But not with having enough money. I need help with running the place. Too many things have gotten out of control and I can no longer stop it." Kai says.

Mirage chuckles, rolling his eyes slightly as he pushes himself off of the bar table before going back to cleaning the dishes. "That's just what happens~ it happens to everyone really... You think you have it all under control." Mirage says, looking away from them. "You just one person Kai," Mirage continues, looking back over at the two. "Even with Akira, she's still out doing her job, patrolling the city, which means you are in charge of everything, and all the stress and problems fall on you to fix them. You thought you'd be able to hold all the weight and responsibility~ But here you are... realizing your mistake... and asking for help because you realized that being a lone Wolf and doing everything solo wasn't working out for you huh?" Mirage said, smiling at Kai with a look that said 'I told you so'.

Kai just stayed quiet, looking at Mirage. He then sighed. "Right now isn't the time to list everything I've done wrong. Right now I just need your help. Come on Mirage. I'm one of your favorite customers. I pay you splendidly every time I come here." Said Kai as he looks at Mirage. Mirage sighs, still smiling. "You are right about that... In fact I look forward to servicing you when ever you arrive." Mirage says softly before going over to Kai and leaning over the bar table.

"You are asking me to help run a mansion Kai. A mansion! I rely on all my siblings to help run this restaurant. I don't do it alone. What makes you think I can help you run a mansion?" Mirage asked, sort of scolding Kai for asking him to do such a task.

"People listen to you Mirage. You have this.. way with people that I don't have." Kai responds, sitting up in his seat.

"That's not the point Kai! You're asking me to basically work two jobs, both require my full attention. Do you realize how much you are asking of me?!" Mirage scolded before turning away from him. Kai immediately stood up from his seat, placing his hands down on the bar table, almost slamming his hands down but he controlled himself.

"Mirage! Wait! Just listen! Please... I know this is a lot, and I realize that I'm asking a lot of you. But Damnit you're the only other person I know and trust that I know can run something as big as a mansion in an organized mansion like I can. Some much has been happening! I thought I could take care of it but I couldn't! New people constantly arrive. A fellow friend and I almost died due to someone's quirk because we had been trapped! Everything is getting out of control and I don't know who to turn to. You're the only person I know who handles yourself very well under stress. You flourish when multitasking and are amazing at taking on stressful situations. I'll pay you if that's what you want! Just... please.." Kai said, raising his voice a few times.

Mirage stayed quiet as he silently sorted some silverware. He then sighed. "How long would I need to help you for?" Mirage asked quietly.

"... I- I'm not sure.." Kai responds, lowering his tone to a calmer one.

"... And your Address?" Mirage asked while continuing to sort through the silverware.

"My Address...?" Kai repeated, confused.

"Well yeah, I need to locate your mansion and we're you live so I can help you some how don't I?" Mirage asked, still sorting through the silverware before holding a knife and observing the blade. "... too dull.." He mumbles to himself before throwing it in the trash, before grabbing another knife that was much sharper.

"Oh-! It's (Random Address). Thank you, Mirage. This really means a lot to me." Kai says, thanking Mirage.

"Mhmmm... yeah, sure... Yell at me again though and this knife is going straight through your eye." Mirage says as he turns around, holding a knife with a threatening smile.

"Ah- sorry.." Kai responds, glancing off to the side before looking back at Mirage.

"Good." Mirage says with a look of satisfaction as he turns back around to finish sorting the silverware. After he finished he went over to Kai, leaning over the bar table to look at him. "So mine telling me about some of the stuff I'll have to deal with at your mansion?" Mirage asked.

"Heh... we're so I even start... Well.. My mansion is home to many heroes, villains, and ordinary people ... though ordinary is an understatement. There are Yanderes, Villains, a few heroes, people from alternate universes... people with alternate versions of themselves," Kai explains, listing off some of the people. "A few demons as well as a ghost... Quite a few kids... A few glitches as well.  And I'm very sure that most of them aren't mentally stable at all." Kai explains.

Mirage just stared. He expected a lot. But he didn't expect that.

Kai continues, "A lot of them don't hold any regards or respect for others, and they enjoy annoying each other." Kai explained. "About half of the majority have a lover, but most of the relationships are so confusing that I don't feel like talking about any of the relationships."

"I see... Hate to say it but yeah, you really do need my help.." Mirage mumbles, amused. "So... when do I start...? And I hope you know that because of this I am going to have to start closing the restaurant a few hour earlier than usual until this is done." Mirage said, frowning at the end.

"I'll make it up to you, I promise." Kai responds.

"You better." Mirage muttered.
