VN was sitting down in the corner of her room, her flames surrounding her as she gripped her head, pulling her hair slightly. He eyes where wide. She then let go of her hair, slowly moving her hands as she looked down at the ground, her knees tucked close to her chest. She was curled up in a ball.
Her black flames started to grow, becoming more fierce.Usually she would just hide herself away from the world to cope with her emotions... but I reality all that did was build up those emotions. It's gotten to a point where she can no longer push them away. She was breathing heavily as she closed her eyes, memories of her childhood flashing through her mind. She was wearing her red hoodie...
She kept her eyes closed tightly as she shook, trembling. Tears started to escape her eyes. After a few moments she slowly opened up her eyes. She hesitantly hugged herself quietly.
Her eyes lingered around her room. She then hesitantly stood up off the ground, walking over to a large mirror that was on the wall of her room. She was wearing boxing on under her hoodie. She stood in front of the mirror, letting out a shaky sigh of uncertainty as she slowly started to take the hoodie off. Once she took the hoodie off she took everything else off as well. Well... mostly everything.
Her gaze drifted to her reflection in the mirror, looking at all the scars and burn marks on her body that where mostly covered by bandages. She hated what she saw in the mirror. ... Herself... that is what she saw. She felt so vulnerable. Exposed. She looked away from the mirror, glancing off to the side with a sad look. Hide them. Hide. Hide... VN's thoughts repeatedly told her. But then she heard something different... All her life she felt that she should hide...Why? What do I need to hide...?
She then looked back at herself in the mirror once again, looking at her broken body.
The scars... my imperfections... I need to hide them... VN though to herself. But her actions spoke differently... She didn't know why, but she started to take the bandages off. Starting with the bandages on her upper thighs, (yes she has bandages there, they can just never be seen.) VN looked down at the burnt, scarred skin on her upper thighs. Hide. Hide the— ... No.
VN then started to take the bandages off her collar bone area, revealing a very large gash. Afterwards she reached up and started to take the bandages off of her torn ears. After getting the bandages off completely, she carelessly tossed them to the side before looking at herself in the mirror once again.
She then reached back, feeling along the back of her shoulders... where make up had been applied to hide the hand prints on her back. She stared at her reflection in thought, before smiling softly to herself.
~A few minutes later~
VN's hair was wet as she started to brush it to let it dry. She had washed the make up off of her back. After a while she had gotten dressed, putting on her usual black leggings along with a sleeveless crop top. The back of the crop top exposed her back... She tied her red hoodie around her waist, no longer trying to hide herself.
