Ah- my fourth rp book... We've come a long way- and when ever I look back at the first book and the first part of the second book, I can't help but cringe... Anyway, hope you guys enjoy this one.
(I thought I've make small little stories of what's currently happening to VK's newest victim, Athyst. I hope you guys enjoy this little story. There will be multiple parts to it of course. I just don't know how many parts yet.)
Athyst felt like he was drowning. He couldn't see anything. He was sinking... He was in some sort of liquid. He could feel his lungs heaving for air. He held his breath as he tried to find the surface. Everything was dark and he couldn't see a thing. He then finally reached the surface, gasping for breath. He opened his eyes to see that the water was a murky reddish brown, almost black. The sky was tainted red. Smoke was in the air... you could see it... Debris and ash lingered in the air. He was in the middle of some sort of lake. The liquid he was in was thicker than water. He then saw these rapid ripples in the water approaching him. He felt his heart thumping against his chest as he started to swim to the closest part of land he could find.

The ripples followed him as he got closer to land. Something then broke the surface of the water, sort of leaping into the air, creating very large waves. Atheist looked up in awe at the creature that looked similar to a whale before finally making it to the land. He sat down upon the ground, catching his breath as he coughed up the 'water'. He then felt something slimy..... it was under his clothes. He lifted his shirt to see these large, very large leeches leeching into him, coiled around his waist while sucking his blood. He looked around him, noticing the ground was littered with leeches... they were all wriggling towards him.
Athyst ripped the leeches off of him before throwing them into the water. He then quickly sat up, stomping on the leeches that tried to leech onto him.
He then started running towards a forest, jumping over fallen trees and logs. After he had reached a good distance away from the water he came to a stop. He then heard the sound of something moving. He saw these weird creatures... He quickly hid behind a tree.
He then felt something nip at his leg. He looked behind him to see this big creature. About the size of a dog. It looked like some fly combined with a grasshopper.

Athyst kicked it away from him as he backed up. The fly thing let out a growl before suddenly backing up, getting caught on a very large web. Athyst backed up as well before his hand touched something. He turned to see a very very large part of a cobweb. He looked confused before feeling something wet land on his head... it was saliva mixed with blood. He slowly looked up to see a very large spider looking directly at him, it's mouth wide ready to eat him.

Athyst made a run for it as he quickly ran. He stumbled over roots and fallen trees, scraping his knees a few times but he just kept running. And running. And running. After a while he saw a castle in the distance. A castle...? Are there other humans here? Athyst thought to himself. He started making his journey towards the castle.
