This day turned out to be the best day for the both of them. From being stressed out to being the happiest ladies in Teyvat. It was a very unexpected ride which seemed to last long for now. The stars shone above them, Ursa Major in the distance. Meanwhile, their lantern elegantly flew until it become a small dot as it disappears in thin air.

It is now evening, Beidou accompanied Ningguang to her jade chamber and told her to rest as she also haven't finished all of her untouched piles of work. The tianquan wanted to protest but then again she had to sign all of those papers by tomorrow morning.

Hence, Beidou is still curious about her lady's history with Changyin but preferred to not ruin this night by asking too much questions but she felt something stirring up inside, "Well, how did you actually meet a fatui woman?" she avoided saying the name for it disgusts her.

Ningguang could already feel the jealousy lingering around her so she almost chuckled, "I ran away then met her along— more like she found me passed out in the woods."

"Woods? Mi'lady, that's— Nevermind, what did she do?" she was confused more at this point.

Ningguang wanted to spice it up to see her reaction but only for fun since she rarely gets to do this, "Unknown but she took me at the Wangshu Inn and took care of me all night." she almost smiled when she saw the other's expression changed.

"Honey, you could have just called me if you wanted comfort that time," she began crossing her arms, getting pissed as she pictured Changyin and Ningguang together, "I do not care if you hurt me or not. At least we get to talk about it." she trailed off.

Ningguang found this adorable but then it hit her right in the middle. She figured that it was wise for her to call Beidou for comfort but it's just hideous after she lets go of their relationship. It looked like she lit up her gas then begged for water to extinguish it.

"And no," as soon as she saw the tianquan's look, "I am not jealous." but there wasn't endearment right at the end. Sounding even more jealous than ever.

This made her laugh, "How so?" she teased but Beidou turned away, avoiding her, "Your attitude explains it," there was a complacent smile on her face.

Beidou still denied even though her jealousy is pretty obvious, "Nah, I'm way beyond that fatui woman. Look at you, falling for me again." if she was to name what she's good at, it is turning the tables against her. Now she got the smug look on her face.

The tianquan rolled her eyes, accepting defeat, "Oh, please." but she smiled afterwards.

She thought that it is impossible to make Beidou jealous since she's way too proud and confident that she is the only one that Ningguang loves and indeed it is the truth. Even if Beidou waited for a decade, she would still be confident that Ningguang is that loyal lady she ever knew.

Then for a moment, they admired the starry sky. Connecting dots that seemed to form a few constellations. While they were walking around..

"Here," the captain sighed, "Where we first met." she liked telling about this place which seemed memorable for her. One of the greatest days that has crossed to her life, also Ningguang's.

She went to a spot, visualizing something on her mind, "Ah, I stood here," then she started walking elegantly at the front, mocking her lady, "And then you were walking like this." mustering Ningguang's poise.

The tianquan laughed, "Oh, dear." she grabbed her by the hand, "You are drawing too much attention," she stammered, flustered at what she's doing right now.

As far as the captain know, Ningguang hated dwelling in the past for the pain has always reminded her. The regret that she had to hold for years until accepting her terrible mistake.
