She groaned as her headache continues to hurt more. She attempted to turn to another side but realized that she dozed off at someone else's arms, "Awake now?" she parted the bangs that was on her eyes.

Ningguang was on Beidou's arms for a while. This made her heart flutter so she quickly sat upright but a sharp pain shot at her head, "Ow." she held her forehead

Beidou stroked her head, "It's alright, I told Ganyu to fetch you a specific soup." she smiled softly.

She was still bothered at how she ended up on her warmth, "What are you doing here.." she did not want to be rude but it seemed like it is a part of her soul.

Beidou laughed and it was the prettiest sight her eyes had laid upon, "Well—" pulling Ningguang gently to rest on her arms, "You passed out and luckily I was there to pay.... I mean.." she thought of reasons but shrugs it off.

Ningguang groaned, "Ah, quit pretending. I know you have a huge debt." the captain was silent as she uncovers her secret, "I already talked to supreme governor. Don't bother paying them.." she also lied.

She was touched at her actions but little did she know that she voluntarily paid, "Aww! Mi'lady cares for me after all." she hugged her.

The tianquan liked it but it unabled her to breathe properly, "Too tight." she was running out of breath, not by that reason but because they are so close to each other that she hyperventilates.

Beidou withdrawed immediately, "Oh damn, I am so sorry.." Ningguang tried to still sit upright even though her head aches.

It's better to die on a headache than die hyperventilating. As she thought. But it is better to die on the hands of my love. Her body felt hot at that thought so she stupidly shook her head, she felt a shot of pain.

Beidou put a hand on her forehead and compared it to hers, checking her temperature, "Damn, you are hot." she lets out a hearty laugh, "On the other side, yes you are hot but—NOT this kind of hot." she tries to fill in a positive atmosphere.

Ningguang laughed slightly, her mood feeling better, "Shut up, you are no good." she joked as they laughed again.

She sat at the opposite side of her couch. Their eyes locked and the feeling was nostalgic for them. Ningguang examined Beidou's perfect face even though faded scars and bruises were still visible due to the incident last time. This ached her heart once more.

But despite all that, she was so attracted at the captain that she accidentally lost her words, "Pardon?" she finally came into senses.

It was expected for the other to tease but figured that it might make her fever worst. She shook her head and had this disappointed look on her face, "I said why did you go there when you were feeling sick?" her tone was full of concern even though she was slightly mad at how reckless Ningguang is.

She almost stuttered as she find words that could cover her sudden actions a while ago, "It is my duty to fulfill my quests in a matter of time. I am honorary." she spoke with elegance even though there was a trace of weakness.

The captain only nodded as she does not like to pressure the sick lady, "Okay, where was Ganyu?"

"Oh, I only go alone and besides she is too busy bonding with her loved one." she was happy that her secretary had some time with her interest but she was ashamed at how she ruined their one time date.

Beidou formed a smile on her lips, "I knew Keqing would get her." she sounded like a mom whose daughter just had full A's on her card.

A sudden thought lingered Ningguang for a moment and it bothered her so much, "That day, what was the point Keqing hugging you? Ugh, you know how I despise disloyalty." the bitter tone was clear and concise.
