"May I see my Lady Ningguang?" she pleaded, almost kneeling down.

Jean shook hed head and pushed her away, "No, you are not allowed to see the bride yet!" she spat and closed the doors behind her.

Beidou banged the door dramatically, "My lady~~~" her voice came out muffled, "I want to see how beautiful you are~"

Ningguang laughed at the other side of the room and went towards the door, "You are going to see me later, honey. Wait longer, my dear." she replied and heard Beidou's whine echoing the corridors.

Today is a very special day for it is their wedding day. At last, the day has finally come and they are so sure that this day will mark it as the most memorable and immaculate moment of their lives. Although their wedding was postponed last time due to the circumstances happened, they are however making it happen today. Since Beidou has now fully recovered and Ningguang has overcame her trauma. Also on how peaceful Teyvat is, no more blood and screams just like what happened before.

August 26th. They both decided to hold their wedding on Ningguang's birthday, making her feel exceptional again. Imagining the idea of walking down the isle as she gaze at Beidou who's looking at her with heart painted on her pupils, blushing hard she covered her face when it turned red. She wanted to cry at how happy she is today that her dream had finally come true and that no one is there to put an obstacle along the roads.

"Nervous? Excited? What do you feel?" Jean asked her who is also considered as her friend since they had talked before about their nation, also for a fact that they both had meetings before which is also the reason why Ningguang had chosen her as maid of honor.

Ningguang grinned wider, "I am feeling a lot of emotions right now." she paused, "In fact, I'm too overwhelmed that it's all finally happening. I want to break free and scream to the world that I, Ningguang, pursued her dream on marrying the Captain Beidou."

Jean knew about what happened last time when Beidou had delievered them a letter weeks ago and witnessed how gruesome it is for them to experience something like that, especially when Beidou was all wounded up and was merely breathing alive. She was impressed at how they both endured the pain stopping them from keeping the ties apart.

"Hey, darling." a voice said from behind, "Is everyone finished? It's taking way too long your wedding comes in twenty minutes..."

Ningguang was about to reply when Lisa still butt in, "Oh, with that look of yours, there's no doubt that Beidou would bark for you." she joked and chuckled, "Anyways, that gown look so elegant, right?" she nudged Jean who nodded and smiled.

It was indeed splendid, "Thank you," she smiled back and also admired her reflection. She then sighed in satisfaction and almost squealed, "I'm so elavated and thrilled to walk down the isle." she spun her gown around, flowing it beautifully. While doing this, she pictured what Beidou's reaction would be.

Then Keqing, Ganyu, Xinyan, Xiangling and the others came and looked stunned at the bride so they all squealed like fangirls.

"I bet the captain would drool as you walk down the isle, Ningguang." Keqing joked and laughed.

Ganyu nudged her partner due to the inappropriate joke before looking at her boss, "Miss Ningguang, I wish you a happy birthday and I congratulate the two of you for being married at last." she smiled, still speaking formally.

Xinyan and Xiangling both nodded, "Be the main character you are." Xinyan adviced.

"Ooh! I can't wait for you to taste the wedding cake I baked!" she excitedly said.

Ningguang smiled at how supportive they all are with their wedding, feeling touched that she wanted to hug all of them though it isn't her forté. Anyway, at this point she wanted to open the doors and immediately walk down the isle to be pronounced as Beidou's lawfully wedded wife.
