The day before her unexpected desertion...

Their arguement had submerged her whole in melancholy. With her heart shattered into pieces, she felt her chest heaving more pain than last time to the point that breathing had turned to its difficulty that every pant stings an excruciating pain all over. For it was the first them they had ever quarreled about their relationship and didn't have a conversation after. Since it has been two days since they last had seen and talked to each other. To Beidou, it was so dreadful that the last time they talked was them bickering endlessly, leaving their hearts scarred without even seeing each other to puzzle them back again. Although as much as possible she wanted to visit her, she couldn't. It's not that she's afraid of doing the first move and having to swallow her pride but she's afraid that after they had fought, Ningguang would never look at her the same before. She's horrified that the time when she arrives on her door, Ningguang would look at her blankly as if she hadn't known of her before. In fact, she was anxious. Knowing that Ningguang would someday leave her... She decided to be the first one to leave.

But she always knew that her lady wouldn't do such a thing and that her disappointment had only overdrove her mind and that's why harsh words had slipped off from her mouth. The idea of Ningguang leaving and giving up on her is illogical and somehow paradoxical. After all, they swore to love each other in eternal and that death is at most the thing that could only kill their romance.

"Captain Beidou!" they all gasped in warning and aimed their spears at her, "Halt! Stay where you are!"

She sighed and went pass them effortlessly, seeming as though the spears hadn't intimidate her and that she merely had walked herself over life and death situations. With her walking so powerful, the Milleliths had redrawn their weapons and only stared at her. Each exchanging looks to give signals on capturing her but none of them moved. All are scared to dare and touch her.

The Tianji now came to see what's the fuss was all about and when they (using a they/them pronoun since the Tianji is currently unknown) see Beidou, they took a step back, "...Captain..." they muttered in terror and was about to inform the others when Beidou hurriedly grabbed her wrist.

"I wish to depart from Liyue for a while not until I prove my worth." she demanded coldly, "Basically, you all are accusing me of something which I hadn't done."

She went on and chuckled bitterly, her eyes were full of hurt and sorrow, "You all... destroyed my life... Harmed me and my lady's relationship... All of you... tormented me... and... put me in this misery..." she said through gritted teeth and puffed in anger, "But here I am to prove you all wrong. I came here voluntarily to defeat Haishan once again to maintain Liyue's safety. I guess that's all I have to do reacquire my honor, is that correct?" she rose a brow.

Even though the Tianji hadn't met the captain, she wasn't aware that she could be very intimidating and menacing that she was lost with words just as she was staring at her piercing gaze, "Er— C-Captain... I—" she gulped nervously and looked sideways helplessly but the Milleliths are also too scared to even move so they only stared in horror, "Please... Inform the Tianshu or either the—"

"It wouldn't be too necessary since you are also a member of the Liyue Qixing," she intervened coldly and now took a step back when she noticed that the Tianji is shivering in fear, "Aren't we signing an agreement?" she folded her arms and clicked her tongue, showing her who's the real boss.

The Tianji jumped with a start and scurried over to snatch a piece of paper then hands it to her with shaky fingers, "H-Here... sign wherever you want and I'll be taking care of the rest..."

Beidou gazed at her emotionlessly before signing the contract then slams the pen after, "I advice you to not inform anyone else about our discussion." she said stiffly and turned her heels, "Even the Tianquan... I beg of you to not tell her." then her tone changed, something that meant vulnerability.
