Keep running, as that thought lingered around her head continuously. Run, though you are out of breath and energy. Run, even though your severed chest is stinging again from pain. Run, even though you're almost palpitating. Run, if you still want to live. Just keep running no matter what could happen.

Hide, even though each locations are already marked. Hide, even though it's useless since they outnumbered her. Hide, even though they are no place to hide. Beidou, hide well for me. Beidou, live for me... for us.

She let her feet drag anywhere it could possibly go even though they are turning numb as hell. She panted heavily, from running and from the pain she is feeling but she endured all of them and kept herself focused at going into places to lost them. She wished to escape from this nightmare turned into a reality.

A shot of arrow dashed past on her shoulder, leaving a slight wound but it didn't make her flinch, "Come on, boys! If y'all want to get rich, kill her!" a stern voice bellowed from behind.

Beidou mustered all of her energy to escape from them while also imagining herself getting caught. She wanted to cry and be on Ningguang's arms to make her feel safe and protected but right now, it's impossible to do so. But one thing that's making her not give up on living is Ningguang and therefore she must undergo such challenges in order to attain the life she always wanted. After all this time, she vowed to be her wife forever. She mustn't die at this state, she must keep on living.

She tripped over at one branch, screeching in pain as her chest hit the cold ground. At this point, she could not even stand up from the pain which was stinging on her wound but she realized she mustn't stop running. The men are also nearing upon her distance, swinging their torches as they continued searching and chasing for her. She stood to get up even though her whole body trembled from fatigue and went back to running straight, not caring where she'll be headed but as long as she's still living it's best.

But her hope shattered as she ran towards a cliff, she gazed downwards and figured that it's way high up from what she's standing and it'll be suicide if she tried to jump off. She huffed and puffed heavily, clutching hard her chest and glanced sideways to make up  another route but as she attempted to escape at one direction, the men chasing her down now cornered her. Each having a sneer as though wolf devouring their prey.

Beidou cursed under her breath and stumbled backwards, slightly taking a glimpse at the cliff she's walking into and darted her gaze along the men. She thought of a plan inside her head but the pain keeps her from staying focused. Also the fact that it'll be difficult for her to heave her claymore maybe even fight using her bare hands since she's sore all the way done.

Now realizing her fate, she laughed bitterly but behind those were torment. She rose both of her hands as if surrending and gave them a grim smile, "Captain Wu, I didn't know you will be participating at such bounty as that," she snarled, getting furious at how she was betrayed by her fellow pirates, "I'd say you did a great job chasing down someone worth ten million mora. What are you waiting for, huh? Ain't going to kill and present my lifeless body in front of the officials? With a proud grin on your face saying 'I, Captain Wu, killed the murderer' when you yourself is also a murderer. How hypocrite." she snickered then takes a step back.

Wu's brows furrowed so he signals his men to point their arrows at her and also gestured them to get ready for the final signal, "I do not care as long as I'm getting the mora, scallywag." he clicked his tongue, "Captain Beidou, any last words?"

Instead of getting furious as usual, she flashed him a mocking smile, "Ningguang, I do take you as my lawfully wedded wife." she muttered under her breath.

Their ship, Alcor, is stationed at one spot hidden from anyone's eye, making them safe just in case the Millelith spots them. Meanwhile, the Crux Fleet crew all gathered around the quarter's cabin, having an important meeting regarding what's happening around. Captain Beidou then discusses that they shouldn't be carelessly walking around since it is a high risk danger. They went in turns to intervene the talk, that's why it's also difficult to understand each and one of them are saying.
