The night was beautiful as the sky was painted by constellations. Night breeze was cold but warm at the same time. At this time, the lanterns were not lit up. People were busy preparing for the grand show. The scene was perfect, it calmed their nerves. Beidou and Ningguang walked hand to hand, the captain kept stealing glances at her fiancée who would blush at the moment their eyes locked.

The air smelled of fresh roses, its scent lingers around the romantic scene. A perfect moment for couples to be intimate at each other.

They went to a spot that sought clearly the ocean, the waves slowly slammed against the deck, spraying some of its water. Each of them find their own places, slightly separating from the group. The two engaged couple decided to have some alone time since Ningguang have always wanted that. It's not like they hated hanging around with others, they just wanted leisure time for themselves. Who knows when will be the time they will get busy again?

The others also did the same, Xinyan and Xiangling went to the stage where people cheered as the rocker slinged her instrument, blasting flames which of course burnt her impromptu stage again. Chongyun and Xingqiu were now running around as the ice boy snatched what looked like Xingqiu's diary, reading the content aloud. While Zhongli and Childe talked about something, looking serious as ever.

Ningguang sighed, "I finally get to appreciate the beauty of the show with the person I love." she averted her gaze at the captain, she caught a slight glimpse of pink on her cheeks.

Even though it was dimly lighted, they could still see their expressions, "Is that so?" she chuckled, still blushing at her remark, "I thought I was the only one thinking about that." she sounded sheepish though she was flashing a confident smile.

They had never watched the splendid show together. In fact, this is the very first time they will be seeing it as a couple because last time, their relationship ended first and that didn't give them the chance. It only ended with them slightly glancing at their windows as the event continued, their hearts still broken and their tears still flowing.

That made them hate this event. They loathe such date as they believed it will only hurt them again and again. Reminding them of their sick past, cracking their wounds apart that was once healed.

"Time flies by so quick." Ningguang didn't realize how she was doing the talking when she's pretty bad at making the first moves, "I was pretty sure we were enemies in the past." she let out a laugh.

"A love-hate relationship," she also cackled, "And hey, we are sometimes enemies up until now." she joked.

Ningguang slapped her arm playfully, "You are correct," remembering the last time they fought childlike, it was when they argued about the chair a while ago. Her heart thumped when she remembered sitting on the captain's lap.

She brushed it off quickly, thinking about something else other than that.

"Your mind is elsewhere." she wriggled her eyebrows, "I can read you, my lady." eyeing her intense which made Ningguang jump to her senses.

She turned away quickly, thinking that when their eyes would meet, the captain would clearly see and read her mind and thoughts, "How could you utter such nonsense." she tried not to sound guilty.

Beidou kept on smirking, her famous signature look, "Stop being so pretentious." she leaned closer, their distance was inches apart Ningguang could smell the mint from her breath, "You are so easy to undone."

Ningguang felt a chill on her spine as well as butterflies fighting on her stomach. She shoved her back, "Shut your dirty mouth, captain." she warned, stammering slightly.
