Present time. Seven days after last seeing Beidou.

Ningguang is in a very good mood today, she woke up and decided to choose excitement. She could not help the smile curling on her lips to stop, knowing that this is the day that Beidou will finally come home. At her chamber, she hastily finishes all of her paperworks in order to vacant half of her day for Beidou. Not wanting to waste any moment for she really missed her so much she might jump into her arms even though that isn't her thing and style.

She hummed in tune while signing last of her paperworks, piling them up on one of the finished ones. For a moment, her whole body fidgetted everywhere, not being able to stay still and focus, so she stood up and went on one of her cabinets. She grabbed the pirate coat that was given to her and smelled her scent that still lingered behind, "Hmmm..." she sighed and hugged the coat as if it's Beidou. If she could fast forward the time, she would do so.

"Er—Miss Ningguang?" her secretary called out from behind.

She woke up to her senses and blinked way too hard, "Ganyu." she said with a start, hoping that she isn't caught doing that, "Yes?"

Ganyu handed her some letter, "Your request regarding on catering. Wanmin Restaurant had already approved of your request, Miss Ningguang."

Ningguang was delighted, "Beautiful," she paused, "How about the tables and chairs? Every part of thing which upholds a certain event." she demanded politely.

"Ah, yes." she scanned the papers she's holding, "I have settled the matter. They are also willing to accomodate you, Miss Ningguang though it might be pending." she informed, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Her lips twitched from one side then started muttering something under her breath about surprising Beidou, "I see, maybe she'll be home by sunset or onwards..." she started pacing back and forth, "...estimated as having about less than two hours to prepare..." she tapped her chin using her index finger.

Ganyu was puzzled at how she's acting, "Oooh, do you plan on surprising Captain Beidou?" she grinned broadly.

Ningguang blushed and even tried to deny, "Yes, perhaps I am planning," she also tried stifling her smile but failed to do so, "Now, off we go. We don't want this one time event to go berserk." she waved her hands in thin air.

"That's so sweet of you, Miss Ningguang." Ganyu giggled, "I bet Captain Beidou missed you so much."

She felt her body turned way hotter than ever, "As she should be." she maintained the steadiness on her voice, clearing her throat when her voice cracked.

Guyun Stone Forest.

"Ning, are you really sure that captain of yours will be home today?" Keqing folded her arms and rose a brow.

Ningguang was too busy ordering her assistants to set up everything so she turned at Keqing impatiently, "Of course, why is that?" it was now her turn to sass her voice.

She shrugged, "I don't know but didn't she mention that either she'll be home before a week or after..." she wondered.

The tianquan shifted her weight from one foot, "Beidou promised to be home at exactly a week," she insisted, her chin held up high, "If she won't be home... Who knows what punishment awaits for her." she hissed, clicking her tongue after.

Keqing only chuckled and shook her head. Then a loud bang of music ringed along the coast, "Hell yeah!" then she flashed everyone a rock sign like she's on a concert and everyone paid attention, "Howdy! Ooh, what's this all about?" Xinyan asked, full of energy.
