Circling back at the past again... when Beidou was still doing her best to court Ningguang... Her getting rejected a dozen times will never stop her from loving the lady...

A cloudy day at Liyue Harbor, merchants doing their usual routine at the Feiyun Slope. While at the Jade Chamber, Ningguang was busy staring at her bulletin board which holds the deepest and darkest secrets of Liyue. She carefully examined them as she was finished with her paperworks.

As she was carefully reading them, she muttered something incoherent then nodded after. She pulled a pen then started scribbling from one paper to another, squinting her eyes as she thought of something.

Few moments later, Ganyu appeared to be holding a massive bouqet of flowers, mainly glaze lillies. She struggled as she carried them, "Miss Ningguang." she grunted, her face was covered by the flowers, making it hard for her to see her way.

Ningguang's jaw dropped as she caught sight of this even though Beidou had been giving her flowers weekly but this felt different. The flowers looked fresh and its scent lingered across the room. She walked towards her secretary with a stunned look, "My office is starting to look like a gazebo." she sighed.

Ganyu gave her the bouqet, "Captain Beidou delivered this a while ago." she let out a final sigh.

"Then why did she not give it in person?" she furrowed her eyebrows as she took the bouqet, just by smelling them made her day.

Ganyu wondered, "I am not sure." in fact, she does not even get why the captain is pursuing so much when her boss had rejected and pushed her away a dozen times.

While Ningguang was adoring the flowers, a piece of paper fell from it. She sets down the bouqet to pick up the paper, "A captain writes letters?" she scoffed, looking bewildered and suprised.

Her secretary waited for her to read the letter but it was only a few words, a poem perhaps. Ningguang could not believe her eyes when she read them.

"Ningguang,
your beauty is like no other,
as pretty as the stars under glistening
skies, it's no wonder.
I fell for your grace, I fell for your personality,
how your smile brightens up my day entirely."

Under such circumstances, she felt her heart thumping fast and loud against her rib cage. No one had ever gave her a poem before and when someone does, she would instantly fall for them with a flick of a hand.

"Oh myy~" Ganyu could not also believe this, "Miss Ningguang, the captain is leveling up." she giggled, she tipped her toes as she read the poem.

There was another writing at the back of the paper which said Lady Ningguang, if you are free, would you meet me at Yujing Terrace? That was all. Ningguang didn't know what to do but there's something within her that wants to go and meet her suddenly.

Then Ganyu remembered her work that needs to be done today, "Miss Ningguang, I have to go. If you are struggling, do what your heart wants to." she adviced then hastily left to the corridor.

She was left alone and undecided, she still could not comprehend how unexpectable the poem was. A smile crept on her lips which was something rare to happen. She read the poem several times before finally coming up an answer to all of her questions.

Her feet dragged her outside to see the captain that was only below her jade chamber. She let her feet go at the supposed location. As she took steps, she could feel her heartbeat going along with it. She had never felt something like this on someone before.
