13 year old orphan, Aspen is all anyone has talked about. Aspen has had her powers for months and she's out of control. The only ones who can help her is the Avengers.

Aspen woke up in a hospital bed. Loki sat beside her bed. He was reading a book. Loki looks at her.
"Aspen, how are you feeling?" Loki asked.
"It feels like my ribs are on fire", Aspen said.
"You said you would be careful", Loki said.
"I never said I promise", Aspen pointed out. "He's angry at me, isn't he?"
"He'll be fine", Loki said.
"My Dad was there, wasn't he?" Aspen asked.
"Yes. He wants to meet you", Loki said.
"Well, I don't want to meet him", Aspen says. Aspen grabbed Loki's hand. Natasha and Tony came into the room.
"Hey kid. How are you feeling?" Tony asked. Aspen gives a thumbs up. "We talk to Steve. He's not angry, but you know how overprotective he can be".
Aspen nodded, remembering how hesitant Steve was in letting her join missions.
"First, I'm stabbed. Next, a bullet. What's next? I get caught on fire?" Aspen asked.
"Whoa! Don't jinx it, kid", Tony said. Aspen smiles.
Fury and Hill walked into the room. "You alright, kid?" Hill asked. Aspen nodded.
"You came to check on me? I knew you cared", Tony jokes. Hill rolled her eyes. Fury pushes Tony out of the way as he walks towards Aspen.
"Did you get the lists of names? Did you find out who they're targeting?" Aspen asked.
"We did", Fury said.
"Now, we need to find a way to keep them safe", Aspen said. "Uncle, can you give me an assist. Try to think of places that keep kids, a place that helps them".
"Fury?" Tony asked.
"Hospitals?" Hill suggested, while ignoring Tony.
"No, that's not it", Fury says.
"An Orphanage?" Loki asked.
"No, these kids already have parents",Aspen said. Loki shrugged his shoulders as if saying, "Well, I tried".
"How bout a school?" Tony asked. Aspen and Fury looks at Tony.
"That could work", Aspen said.

A few days later, Aspen sat at the table in the kitchen. She wrote in her notebook and drew blueprints.
She wore a sleeveless leather jacket, a stripped shirt, black jeans and her brown boots. Aspen had a black hat on her head and a necklace around her neck.

Loki walks toward her. "How are the plans coming along?" He asked.
"They're great. I think", Aspen said. Loki sat next to her. "I don't know what to do with this. Should the school have 2 floors? Should it have 3? How many bathrooms on each floor? I..."
Aspen sighs. Her eyes were a colorful color. "Allow me to help. You look like you could use some assistance", Loki said.
For the next few hours, Loki and Aspen worked on the plans for the school. One by one, the Avengers came into the room.
"And of course, they're going to need a place to sleep", Aspen said. Her eyes were brown again.
"Got it. We'll have an attic ready for them all", Tony says.
"You're not funny", Aspen said as she tries to suppress a smile.
"Then they are you smiling?" Tony asked as he smiles back.
"Well we could give them dorms. I mean, if you have extra bedrooms", Aspen said.
"It's not going to be here", Tony said.
"Yes, it will. It's the safest place to be so we're putting it here. End of discussion", Loki said.
"The dorms will be here. We're building a school next to this building. There's a unowned building next door. We could build a campus", Aspen says.
"I think it's a great idea", Natasha said.
"Honestly, me too", Tony said.
Wanda puts two cups of coffee on the table. She sits next to Clint. "There are also four more buildings that are unowned, next to the tower", Wanda says.
"If we can buy all five buildings before someone else does, we'll have six buildings. Then we'll really have a campus", Pietro said as he handed Aspen a cup of hot chocolate.
"I'll buy the buildings tomorrow", Tony said.
"Thank you", Aspen says before she takes a sip of her chocolate. She sets it on the table. "Now that we have the list of names that HYDRA is targeting, we have to get to them before HYDRA does".
"We'll have some S.H.E.I.L.D agents look after these children. If anything happens, the children will be sent here. Until we can get everything set up", Natasha says. Aspen nodded in understanding.
"I think we should look at the buildings tomorrow before we buy them. We need the most space for the training grounds and the classes. I want to make sure they have those", Aspen said.
"I can go with you tomorrow when we look at them", Cal says.
"I'll come with you both", Wanda said.
"Okay. We can set an appointment. Or whatever the hell we do", Aspen said.
"You don't know how to do this, do you?" Steve asked. Aspen shook her head.
"I'll tell you about it tomorrow", Tony said.
"Look at this", Loki says as he hands Aspen a chart. Aspen looks at it. "Your eyes change color for almost all your emotions. If you're excited, your eyes are blue. If you are just plain old happy, your eyes are your normal brown".

"That's impressive, Reindeer games", Tony said. "Now we'll know what Aspen's feeling".
"Aspen will know what she's feeling. I'm sure she wouldn't want you to read her so easily", Loki said. Aspen smiles at him.
"Thanks", Aspen said. "Let's get back to work". Everyone discussed the plans a few more hours before it's time to get to bed.
Aspen stands up. She grabs the plans for the school and went to her room. Aspen puts the plans where she hopes no one will find it.
Aspen puts on her pajamas before getting into bed. She uses her powers to make purple lights on her ceiling to make it look like stars.
Aspen's eyelids grew heavy. Her eyes were a dark orange. She slowly blinks three times before she falls to sleep.
